Are you wanting an Ankh item or it as a design on a block?
Item
How's this for the Ankh? [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/20973870/2012-09-17_22.58.54.png[/t]
Nice. That works.
Does anyone know of a website where I can host my texturepack and have alternative texture customizing like how Painterly does it? I've tried http://minecraftcustomizer.net but it doesn't allow me to upload things that aren't supported by it(unless I can't find that option).
The only thing I really play in the technic launcher is the Yogbox, because the toomanyitems thing in technic and tekkit is just so damn tempting.
You can disable NEI in the config, so you only have access to recipes.
It's been many updates since I've seen thee, O pink sheep! [t]http://i.imgur.com/8tYqg.jpg[/t] There's another one hiding behind a tree.

Mining in the Nether is a pretty good job mate. I think I need to add more furnaces...

What will the RFID detector be made from? It'll help with the textures, Since I don't want to make a block that resembles cobble if it'll be made from glowstone.
haven't completely decided yet, but I'm thinking just iron and red stone. with either a diamond or an emerald for the "scanner"
haven't completely decided yet, but I'm thinking just iron and red stone. with either a diamond or an emerald for the "scanner"
I'd go with emeralds so that trading has even more uses.
Emeralds it is.
Right I'll get to work on them all when I get home from school in about 5 hours time.
Awesome. Thanks.
Made a tutorial on a really compact autorbridge I made: Need your opinion FP though, should I do more voiced stuff? I honestly don't know.

Doesn't lag as hard with default textures.
That's because high-res texture packs makes items have an extreme poly count. [editline]18th September 2012[/editline] Items in your hand that is.
Minecraft was never meant to handle thousands of objects with 128x textures. You can try the 64x version, may help.
Minecraft was never meant to handle thousands of objects with 128x textures. You can try the 64x version, may help.
I nver use above 64, not because I can't handle it mostly because I don't see a need for it.
In theory, terrain textures could be able to be as large as the GPU ram without any limitation but it's not smart to do that big and shit.
How do you make redstone wires connect to blocks that are 1 block apart? I want to make a row of pistons but I can only wire up every 2nd block or the redstone will automatically connect with the others and not power the piston.

The first is just to lay a redstone wire across some blocks next to the pistons (redstone powers the block which transmits to the piston): The other is just to use repeaters: [editline]a[/editline] Bonus double decker piston:

How do you know they won't? We don't even have pictures yet
A Zelda: Wind Waker theme wouldn't be too bad for this game
Ugh. Can we just... I don't know, drop the whole villager look for now? The villagers themselves were bad enough to begin with, and they became somewhat tolerable over time, but the iron golems look like them too and it seems like the only new mobs we get are variations on older ones. i.e. wither = freaky skeleton thing. Is it too much to ask for a mob that's as original-looking as the Creeper was?
