This bug is proving to be useful already.
Is anybody else having trouble updating Minecraft? My download keeps getting stuck.
Is it just me or does 1.2 keep crashing constantly
what bug is that?
Vertical redstone using glowstone.
I can't believe how they still haven't included vertical redstone as a ingame feature right from the start.
Any mods for 1.2 yet?
Is anybody else having trouble updating Minecraft? My download keeps getting stuck.
I guess I'm the only one. I've tried deleting the entire folder (backed it up of course), restarting my modem, and plugging into the Ethernet cable. Still no avail. What is wrong with Minecraft.net?
Any mods for 1.2 yet?
There's a couple. TooManyItems always updates first. Modloader is updated, so it's just a matter of time before the modloader mods are updated.
Nevermind. I went to play the game through the Browser and it downloaded perfectly. Weird, I guess something was wrong on my end or something.
I can't believe how they still haven't included vertical redstone as a ingame feature right from the start.
Jeb and Notch are incredibly annoying with Redstone. Jeb's outright refused to code it so we can change the direction of Redstone without changing the circuit for reasons I don't believe he's stated, and Notch has most likely said something similar. I get the feeling they want to keep it difficult to use because it's more "retro" that way, or because they like seeing the ridiculous circuitry behind each contraption.
Having less complicated redstone components would work if they were expensive to make. So that technology could "evolve" in a sense, similar to reality. Also that way people in creative could just spawn the good shit in and make amazing things right off the bat.
I'm still waiting for a circuit box type thing where you can program using redstone in a crafting table kind of menu and when you place it all you need is the input and output. Hell I'd love it if by using the same idea you can make it so a circuit would only activate, say, a door, rather than everything on that same circuit unless otherwise programmed. Same thing for inputs. Levers would activate, but not pressure plates or torches. But I don't use redstone all that much to really care about what happens to it.

They should just implement some of the things from RedPower. Mainly the wires and logic.
A graphical menu with an 1616x16 grid all encased in one block. I have always wanted this.
I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be able to fit 1,616 mini-blocks into one block.
I'd like if we could craft redstone dust with other materials to make advanced redstone dust. For example: craft redstone dust with glowstone dust and you get instant redstone. Any torches made with instant redstone dust are instant; same with repeaters.
Not literal blocks. A 16x16 grid as in the crafting grid.
I know, I was just poking a bit of fun at the typo.

Never leave two villagers unattended.

Villagers are still dumb as shit though I mean a whole bunch got stuck in this one spot. I freed them but then I found out they were getting stuck in some other place. They also seem to crowd right at the door instead of into the houses. Yeah, I've noticed that the villagers in my city are complete morons. I might have to commit genocide if they overpopulate and get stuck everywhere. :v:
How long does it take villagers to grow up?
I thought Iron golems didnt like water.. He seems to be having a good time with that dashingly handsome chicken.
expended 15 levels to enchant a bow and got Level 1 Knockback what the fuck, yo
Anyone have any cobblestone or stone generator designs that don't use any redstone (and consequently any pistons)? I'm trying to farm stuff on my server's flat world. Edit: Late? What?
Anyone have any cobblestone or stone generator designs that don't use any redstone (and consequently any pistons)?
expended 15 levels to enchant a bow and got Level 1 Knockback what the fuck, yo
I'd probably install that mod that tells you what enchantments you're gonna get from a "page".

They actively go out of their way like 90% of the time to avoid the nearest house, and crowd into a single building. Sure I'll find the odd one or two in the other buildings, but it takes the fun out of creating a village on your own. They need to evenly spread out between the houses around them.
