Heh. I've been understanding redstone a lot more recently, having built a automatic archery range with popup targets and a crossing gate for a minecraft track
Can someone link me to that program that generates chunks in a world for you so you don't have to generate them while you're playing the world?

What's the point of that?
They need sounds for minecarts.

This is getting weird, some chunks are normal world chunks and some are flatlands.

You have to admit, some of these places are fucking awesome.
It would be cool if the water wasn't buggy and actually flooded the land below.
What's the point of that?
So the server doesn't lag while generating chunks

Ninja
They need sounds for minecarts.
They have sounds for minecarts, they're just not implemented because the sound system doesn't support moving sound sources. So the minecart would leave its sound effect behind as soon as it moves.

Well I'll be damned, Kinniken, the creator of millenaire had finally gave in and made the mod use Forge's sprite api, now we can actually play millenaire with other mods, amazing.
Wow after the third time seeing that image, their is actually water there. The water is so clear I didn't even notice it haha.
The one I use is this:

But prepare your computer, it takes a lot to run it.
Do waterfalls still look like poo
The waterfalls don't look that bad, atleast they didn't when I was playing with this mod, and believe me, I have played minecraft with this mod for a long time now.
Could someone put a drag and drop together of a BuildCraft server for me? I can't seem to get mine to work.

Yeah, I noticed there are a few things that don't exactly work even if you follow the instructions. First off, install ModLoaderMP, then Forge. Then, copy the Modloader.class file into the server jar again. I don't know why they didn't list that in the instructions, but whatever. Then you need to download some fixes, namely these:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/8gqgt9ugkxcmono/Forge_1.3.1_Server_Block_Break_Fix.zip
http://www.mediafire.com/file/1cmd8tmcv9o669h/Forge_1.3.1_Server_ModLoader_Class_Fix.zip
slap em in the server jar
Then, place all your Buildcraft zips in the /mods directory, it should be in the same folder as the server jar. Now you should be all set. Let me know if it works, I wasted a couple days slamming my head against a wall until I found out about these fixes :v:
Play it for the player that's in a cart?
That would be a partial implementation, but they obviously wanted all or nothing, otherwise they would've already done that. That might also conflict with music, since music is played for the player, and I don't know if more than one player sound can exist.
Just saw that Mojang are searching for part time support personnel in Stockholm. I wonder if my earlier work as a "information gatherer" at an ad company and my moderation on this forum are worthy to be added to the CV :v:

Or they could be hiring someone like MinecraftChick where you contribute absolutely nothing to Mojang

If MinecraftChick has become a director at Mojang because the first game she played was Minecraft and she has pink hair you can become anything you'd like at Mojang.
I'm pretty sure that Sweden is a country with lots of hot girls. Still pends me on why they employed an ugly fuck out of all of them.
Nono, you also have to be an annoying fuck.
And have no talent.
Hey, quit badmouthing Mojang's Director of Fun. She has numerous talents and is very important to the gamepfffffahahahahahah
Wait, she actually "works" there? I thought she was just some random person who played minecraft and called themselves the 'MinecraftChick'.
