I disagree, making automated machines is quite fun. I do agree however, after you have everything like that, it can get quite boring.

Nah, once I automate the mundane shit like lumber, farming, smelting, sorting and food, it frees me up to go adventuring, spelunking and building.

Not updated and I can almost guarantee it isn't compatible with my installed mods.
I always wanted to make a piston elevator/escalator, but never had the motivation to actually do it. So I forced myself to do it just now, and I must say that it's pretty fun to ride in.

There's a small bug where the item/player needs to be directly in the center of the piston, but it works pretty well so far.
Say, in terms of world-making, has anyone tried making the world of Dark Souls, with places like Anor Londo, Lost Izalith, Ash Lake, etc? Probably not deep enough to replicate EVERYTHING, but still space to make some of the places.

There are mods that allow you to eddit the height and depth of the terrain.

The main thing that got me is that there has to be a line of redstone going straight into whatever you're powering, not just beside it.

It's very very easy. You just have to learn what each item does and how they interact.

Figured here is as good a place as any to ask, anyone know a Minecraft host that lets you host Tekkit? My friend is too lazy to rent a dedi and host it himself and wants something similar to lethaldrive to work with.
