Not updated and I can almost guarantee it isn't compatible with my installed mods.
It's forge, and thus compatible with almost all mods :v:
Also what do you guys think of my trailer?

It was only done with two actors because no one else was online today :(
Stumbled upon this a few pages ago. The trailer's not bad, but using dubstep (Antidote, specifically) is highly frowned upon unless you're trying to appeal to Skillrex kiddies. It's not bad, but needs a better soundtrack.
Lighting up a large area is a pain in the ass, wish they made a new light block which would be 3-4 times more powerful than glowstone. Having to place glowstone or torches every 5 blocks is annoying and ugly. Light level 7 even when standing this close to a lamp

anyone know a bukkit plugin that kicks people after being afk for 15 mins?
For those of you who didn't know, the water shader mod has updated to v5b, it adds ripples to the water

a bit of fine-tuning and the ripples may actually look good.
Someone make a mod where it plays this when it rains instead of the annoying rain sounds

Are chickens so stupid that they can't even run while on fire while creepers are smart enough to take the least damaging path?
Maybe they haven't fully-upgraded chicken AI yet? That'll probably roll in next snapshot.
Speaking of snapshots, no snapshot this week again; apparently Jeb's in Vegas and Jon's sick at home. Kind of a bummer, but there's always next week...
chickens are pretty dumb and should stay that way
I haven't learnt how to use redstone AT ALL, I missed that update and when I decided to play again I thought
fuck it
I just did nothing, I can't make ANYTHING with redstone, I have trouble with a piston door.
I remember making a piston door once in the beta in a wooden house, made a fireplace next to it completely covered by stone, set a fire thinking nothing bad will happen turn my back for two seconds.
A piece of the wall is on fire, and that wall is connected to the piston door. Quickly digging through, the entire contraption was already covered in fire and was quickly consuming the house. :v:

I really hope Jeb goes back and makes 1.2.4 where enchanting has a fucking scrolling bar to choose how many levels you want to put into an enchant instead of having to taking the weapon in and out of the slot.

I've no real problem taking out and putting weapons into the slot. However, I do hate spending 20 EXP on Efficiency II, so I'd like disenchanting very much.
what's that one tool that lets you see an entire server's world?
having trouble finding my friend's place in their private server

I think the randomness is well fit for the system. However since I usually put 50 levels into an enchant, getting a level 50 to pop up takes for fucking ever, goddamn. Getting a lower enchant is a bit easier.
Maybe if you put an eye of ender in the enchanting table, the book will start emitting portal sounds, and you point your enchants in directions, like if you're enchanting a sword and you have an eye of ender in, you have "Attacking, Defence, Force", attacking will get you smite, bane, or sharpness, defence will get you an enchant that increases the effectiveness of blocking, or flame sword, and force will get you looting or knockback.
The upside is that you get close to what you want, but you can't get a whole bunch of enchants like you could if you did it without the Eye of Ender.

You should tweet that to jeb NOW, sounds like a great idea.
I don't think that'd fit in a tweet :V Someone summarize it and I'll tweet it.
Brilliant, I'll tweet it as soon as possible. I suggest you all do the same, maybe if enough of us do it he might respond.

Hey, with MCPatcher, I'm installing some mods, and I got this error message.
MinecraftForge-1.4.0.46-Client
ExtraBiomesXL V1.0
acf.class
Only the files from ExtraBiomesXL V1.0 will be used.
How do I fix the conflict?
Why does nobody ever want to play minecraft with me on my server? :(

I actually like the idea of a community created world, rather than a generated one.

Only way to fix the conflict would be to merge the code from both acf.class files.'
Ask the developer of forge to make a compatibility release for extra biomes.

Never mind, I disabled a couple of them, patched and it did nothing, so I'm done with mods. I'll figure it out in a couple of years when I feel like sifting through all the bullshit in the minecraftforum to find a mod installer that actually works.

Yeah, that's what I'm going for.

MagicLauncher seems pretty good. It doesn't always seem to work seamlessly, but it's incredibly simple to use.
