Okay, I got a 1.1 jar now, does anyone have the "Koda Creepers" mod for 1.1? The link for it on the MCF is down, and I kinda need it.
I really care about having a stable computer that I'm sure will work and will last. I don't want to have to worry about the parts I pick out not working with eachother in the long run.
You could have just hopped over to the PC building section and asked if anyone would put together a parts list for a gaming computer. Would have been a lot cheaper and you wouldn't have to worry about parts not going together.
Don't know how that would be possible, glowstone already emits max-level light
Having the light fade at a slower pace might work I suppose. Not sure if it's easy to do with the current lighting system though
You can use NBXlite to generate worlds from older versions of minecraft, I think you can set it to generate them without the new features that came later on.

I'm not really looking for something really good, but I want something that'll work for what I use it for and without me having to go through a bunch of trouble. I'd rather not go around asking people for what I need because I don't know a whole lot about how computers work and I think it'd be more trouble then I'd want to go for. Even if it ends up not being as good as it could have been if I built it myself I'd rather just take the easy route. If I knew about computers and I was really looking for something good or I had a specific budget I had to follow I'd probably build it myself.
Could someone kindly post that one mod that makes use of the new map height? I'm tired of finding lame tiny mountains.

Someone good should join my server and claim this mountain before it's too late.

I'll claim it as long as joining the server isn't required

Someone claimed a village I found and killed all the villagers inside. :smith:
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know, I made my first MC server purchase today and HOLY FUCK ElpisHost are true bro's the control panel is smooth, the server works EXTREMELY well, I loved the service I got when I had some trouble with a mod, Def give them some business if you are in need of an MC server.
So, I've been playing on LethalTactics. Er, let me rephrase, I was recently given a five-day ban on LethalTactics. A little bit of backstory is in order, I believe. So let me begin. My friends and I live in a tower together, with a few neighbors in the vicinity. I've claimed the tower with RegionProtect. Our neighbors, however, are somehow able to break my fences and walls. I've contacted several admins, none of which have done anything. In fact, they've said "If it's not claimed, it's fine." Completely disregarding that it was claimed in the first place. So, I go over to our neighbors, and I notice they have an unclaimed section in their base. Naturally, I go into full revenge mode, and begin knocking out torches, looting chests, and so on. Of course, this was all in unclaimed territory, as I was unable to do anything in land that was claimed in RegionProtect. Log on five hours later, and find myself suspended in a mess of cobwebs above a pit of lava. Admin says I'm jailed for five days. Meanwhile, my neighbors get off scot-free. Another day in the land of Minecraft servers run by incompetent balloons, it seems.
How do you know it was your neighbors and not your friends? Also, you can use a TNT cannon to launch from outside the region into the region, by the way.

He saw the names, he's the one that told me it was them.
Hey guys, longtime (very) lurker here Longstory short I'm looking for a mod that enables goals, not ordinary goals, or build-oriented goals, but something that focuses on mobs and combat. I have these two mods http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/895339-123-battlegear-v240-weapon-dual-wielding-and-shields/ http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/521617-123-inficraft/page__hl__infinicraft Of which opened up minecraft in new ways for me, and I'm wondering if there's something like that Skylands map with a goal and boss fights, or super massive dungeons to fight through Or something that isn't creative and building I think I found something http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/746330-123chocolate-quest-mods-for-the-adventurers/page__hl__dungeons
You could set goals for yourself and check them off as you go?
You could set goals for yourself and check them off as you go?
I have been doing that and it gets boring kinda fast in Vanilla
So how would a mod change that? My tips on not getting bored is trying to do big projects fully legitimately and include lots of redstone and not using tutorials. That'll keep you busy.
Minecraft needs more dangerous areas and mobs attacking your base. It would be the best thing ever if the devs added Mob raids on your home where enderman would tear down your walls, Zombies would bash down your doors on any difficulty, creepers might blow a hole in your wall (Might be annoying) etc. Something like the blood moon from terraria, except the mobs are actually a threat. The invasion mod sorta works to this end, but there are some things about it that I dont quite like. (The whole rift flux thing, stabilizing the rift etc) Or alternatively, you could have to mobs attack the players position instead so that they don't have to worry about their house being destroyed while exploring. Imagine having endermen smash through the walls followed by a horde of zombies...

Well, with the AI and zombies bashing doors on hard mode it's close to that to some extent. Although I think endermen picking up blocks is overkill I think tactics to invade your house would fit hard mode quite a bit.

Like "Toggle Mob Raids on/off". I dont want to play on hard mode, creepers magically appearing behind me gives me enough trouble as it is.
Anyone know of any good, co-op/multiple people maps? I wanna start a server with one.
This is my WIP of my recreation of Isla Nublar from Jurassic Park What is really going to suck is that I have to plant the jungle myself in game due to I don't want structures spawning.
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but I saw the 360's Minecraft GUI and I have to say, it looks quite nice. To be honest, even though it's designed for a controller, I wouldn't mind seeing a mod which did something like this for the PC GUI. For those interested in seeing it,
