That would bug the fuck out of so many people it's not funny. Wood that is one solid color is not the same as wood that is hundreds of similar-but-slightly-different colors.

I would be pissed off if I had to craft a fuck load of wood to get planks with the right colours.
I think for texture pack reasons (And because an overlay doesn't look as good as an actual tile) it might be better to just do tiles.

My only regrets is there there is no limestone or copper blocks for the exterior and roof.
Wait a second, I found a problem with making birch fences and stuff. You'd have to have 'Birch Sticks' which would be terrible to make four different colors of sticks. You'd have to change the fence foruma completely.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to stay motivated with single player projects? I usually have 2-3 projects I work on that I switch on and off of if I get bored, but I can't stick with anyone for more than 15 minutes now.
You can always copy the regular wood texture over the new ones.
Guys you realize that grass and leaves have different colors based on biome right. And that they're working with the modders who figured out how to deal with the texture limit.
I've almost completed a Fallout inspired underground vault. All it needs is some glass-cased glowstone lighting in the halls and more iron-block doorways.
Would you guys like me to post the work in progress? It's huge so it might require about 5 images to cover the most.

You can have lamps in the ceiling, and then put snowmen to roam around above the ceiling to have the lamps flicker off and on again every once and a while.
It'd be amazing if someone made a map like bropocalypse but with supplies strategically spaced out and perhaps hidden maps that show the locations of shelters or supply caches.

Hey guys :v:, I'm the creator of the crappy pack you've were talking about :D. I'm perfectly fine with you laughing at it, it was supposed to be bad. I mean seriously, Lazorz, overused memes, and ponies... nobody would actually make that to be good. I know my "art skills" are crap and basically the whole pack is bad. I used it to parody posts on the minecraftforums (pretty crappy by the way) and the admins still keep it up for some reason :D. I actually kind of like the "MP3 Player" jukebox texture, though. :v:
I feel like it would go nicely with other futuristic textures.
