Go into %appdata%, Open .techniclauncher, open the config folder, open Modloader.txt and change the mods you want to =on to =off.
or you can just delete the mod zip files in the technicssp\mods folder.

Using ModLoader.txt is better as it is easier to revert if you change your mind.

First, rename the world folder to whatever the preferences (in the server folder) say the world folder name is. Next, make sure that they join your Hamachi group and that their Hamachi is on as well. After that, just start up the server and join the IP that Hamachi gives you.

Huh, this actually sounds better than TMI.
It's not enough items, with the minecraft button skin. They also have a TMI skin (black buttons), and it's much better than TMI. Have some examples:
