This is a very fun game.
Oh wow I went in (bought it back in the day) and every customization peice is unlocked, I get a perm 50% and 2.5x EXP boost, I get 2x costume tokens, I love it.
Started playing this today, Actually surprised by how fun it is....And how little I suck at it.

I found the game to be really easy back when I played it. I don't know why. Its the same with blacklight retribution. I almost always placed in the top 3 and I wasn't really putting 100% effort into it.
I would be playing right now but my computer can't handle it now (old one broke).

I did this on sheer theory and it works kind of well.
Rocket launchers are op as fuck in this game.

I hang in the air with the jetpack and hit targets with the RL then finish them off in mid air with the shredder.
Most players have a tendency to not look up. When they have noticed my heavy body type and armor usually get me through return fire.
Fucking hell, when it comes to party play with a friend, this game falls. It chops up until you're in a lobby, and 2/3 times my friend had to wait for the matchmaking to get offa its lazy ass to put him in game. Then, I started experiencing freezing (on a 6950 2GB, 8gb ram and i5 3570k so I shouldn't lag) every now and then which I wasn't having yesterday. Fucking hell.
Hopefully they'll fix these issues.
So I just spent 6 hours downloading the F2P version, and I clicked play. Now it's downloading the entire thing again. Seriously :wtc:

Damn it's so laggy. Why they can't replace p2p matchmaking with simple dedicated servers?
Mighty/Shredder/Pistol/Hangglider
and
Nimble/Katana/Pistol/Smoke Bombs/Hatchet
are fun as hell to play.

Its a fun game, but i keep stuttering at the start of the game which fixes itself in late game. I also can't find any good games now, i keep getting kicked?
as someone who played the console version for a while but had all of their experience and stuff glitched away is it worth jumping on the f2p wagon on pc?

PC F2P also got a ton of new features(These are ONLY what have been noticed by the community so far):
In the feats of Prowess section, there is a daily challenges tab.
There are 15 calling card backgrounds to unlock from Prize boxes.
Gangs now go up to level 100 and that's when the calling card background is unlocked.
Gangs get a catchphrase every 5 levels starting at level 2.(2, 7 ect. to 97) for 20 catchphrases.
You unlock your gang's paint job for weapons at level 54 of the gang.
On top of calling cards you can also unlock paint jobs in prize boxes.
There is an animated calling card.
I like how the F2P version is almost like a whole new game, Steamworks instead of GFWL

Btw, if game isn't available for me, usually it is playable in Latvia.

I get in the game, do the initiation (and notice some odd stuttering), and then join my first match.
The matchmaking alone took two minutes, no exaggeration, and then I could only play the match itself for twenty seconds before I got kicked. My internet provider's certainly shite lately, but seriously man.

I don't mind that the game is now F2P. I've played the game for more than 15 bucks, but I'm kind of sad I lost all my progress.
If only they could nerf the Glidder/Heavy/Shield and all that stuff that come from no where and leave you with only a few pixels of health. I've played the game since winter, and this problem is the main raison why I stopped to play it.
