I am getting Brink solely for the fact that it is developed by Splash Damage, who I have loved since Wolf ET. The fact that it is actually innovating on a genre that has been all about MODERN OPERATORS OPERARATING OSCAR MIKE STAY FROSTY OPERATORS makes it all the more better.
So if I bought this game and didn't enjoy it, can I return it to gamestop? or do I have to make up some crappy excuse about how it doesn't work.
Crappy excuse.
But then I'd only be able to get another copy of the game, not a full refund.
If this and ARMA II had a baby, I'd be so happy.
I don't think it would be even possible to combine this with ArmA2.
im playing singleplayer RIGHT NOW and its fukin amazing! i dont know what you guys are talking about...
im playing singleplayer RIGHT NOW and its fukin amazing! i dont know what you guys are talking about...
Most complaints are about Multiplayer, not Singleplayer. Might rent this for the singleplayer.
im playing singleplayer RIGHT NOW and its fukin amazing! i dont know what you guys are talking about...
Even if it's good, it's terribly short.
Seriously what 5 hours singleplayer? Tell me that's a lie. Please.
Seriously what 5 hours singleplayer? Tell me that's a lie. Please.
nope.avi
So is this game good or what.
I'd rank it up there with APB...
Seriously what 5 hours singleplayer? Tell me that's a lie. Please.
why are people bitching about this, bc2 and mw2 were each like 5-6 hours and no one complained. and umm joystiq gave the game 4/5 saying that the singleplayer was a great experience, take that as you will.
MW2 was at least 6-7. It's getting shorter and shorter uguhuuhuuh
why are people bitching about this, bc2 and mw2 were each like 5-6 hours and no one complained. and umm joystiq gave the game 4/5 saying that the singleplayer was a great experience, take that as you will.
Except that MW2 is bad and that BC2 has a decent multiplayer
I'd rank it up there with APB...
hey man how about playing the fucking game before judging!

The multyplayer version won't launch. I have not installed singleplayer, that could be the reason but I may just have to wait. eh Im not "excited" about playing this.
Brink. I know I like the look of this, but I'd still get Brink. unless you can put up with terrible MP or don't mind paying for a rather long SP (by todays standards anyways.)
I love long single players, like GTA games. I also loved the MP on the beta. I'm preordering Brink, and waiting till this goes down, a lot of times EA puts prices down real fast. I think it's an OK game, not great, but enjoyable nevertheless. I wouldn't pay for it though, i think it's too unpolished, nothing grave, but enough to be a no-no for me.
Single player is broken for me, The lazer designator gets blocked by something not allowing me to complete the mission ... Damnit EA!
Just finished the single player. Steam says I've played for 2.4 hours. I'm pretty sure its wrong though, it was probably like 4 hours. Still, what the fuck?
Bad Company 2.5
Bad Company 2.5
More like Bad Company 2 version 0.8 if the game has anything to say about it.
I played singeplayer and I notice it beats the BC2 and MW2 singleplayer in gameplay and engine mechanics. The multyplayer has a few problems.. mainly balance issues VIA guns but thats the only gameplay issue, the SECOND issue is hackers the third is no server browser working. BUT the engine runs fucking fantastic and i would choose MOH out of BC2 and MW2 because within the first 24 hours of release BC2 and MW2 had more technical problems then MOH. Hopefully the MOH community/devs can over come the small gameplay issue and survive the year and maybe it will have a chance to be a game that could say it is better or just as good as MW2/BC2 but overall I will admit its the brother and cousin of MW2 and BC2 but its the more POLISHED and cleaner one of the three.
Hey I cancelled my preorder but it still says I can download the game. Should I try downloading it or should I just wait?
Hey I cancelled my preorder but it still says I can download the game. Should I try downloading it or should I just wait?
for fuck sakes just try it out, don't let these guys tell you what to do cause their opinion may be different from yours, you may end up liking the game, just try it.
That's the thing, I played the multiplayer and I didn't really like it, but the singleplayer looks ok. I'll guess I'll download it. Worse case scenario is that they block the download/I get charged 63 bucks. [editline]12th October 2010[/editline] The best case being I don't get charged and get to play. The most realistic case being I download the game but the key is defunct, so at least I'll have the game and be able to figure out what do to from there.
I am not seeing that hate about this. I've played MP and SP already, and it's a fantastic game.
