Really? Because when I play multiplayer I can see through some walls. Oh, and did I mention everything in it is just a shameless ripoff of Call of Duty? Score chains, horrible customization, the control the guns on an aircraft above the battle moment, the turn of the lights and shoot everyone with your night vision on moment. And despite trying to be CoD, it pretty much fails in every respect, there's just simply less of everything.
You do realise that some of that happens in real life aswell, which is what CoD and similar games are based off.
Heh, I was wondering why the gameplay felt so familiar. Danger Close, which is the part of EA that made the singleplayer part used to be EA Los Angeles, which also made Medal of Honor Airborne. Airborne was on the same engine. The gameplay feels a lot like Airborne.
6 hours of dying != long campaign.
And to think games like this is suppose to be better than MW2 single player mode.

This is just a recycled shooter used as a moneymaker for BF3 and nothing more.

I'm talking about SP only though, I'm not saying anything about the MP.
And to think games like this is suppose to be better than MW2 single player mode.
Waaay to read my post.
Oh, and this has that leaning system from Airborne too, just that it's much improved and less clunky.
[sp]Damnit, why did Rabbit have to die! :( [/sp] The ending was sad.
well fuck, i died at the laser designator part and now i can't designate any targets, and apparently the only way to fix the glitch is to restart the mission. fuck.
I'll probably rent this for the Singleplayer, since it actually looks pretty good. The multiplayer is terrible, though. If anything, I want a sequel where the studio that made the singleplayer makes the multiplayer as well, because they had some neat ideas that I haven't seen in awhile, such as firing modes and keeping a round in the chamber.
[sp]Damnit, why did Rabbit have to die! :( [/sp] The ending was sad.
In a prequel novel coming out for it you find out that [sp]Rabbit has six kids, which is why he's named Rabbit[/sp] [editline]13th October 2010[/editline] Also I liked how there are mulitple ak models. There's some basic ones, some with folding stocks, some with wire stocks, some with picatinny rails, some with synth, and some with grips. They all fire the same way but its a nice touch. Also the people who said there's no recoil in singleplayer are fucking lying, the pkm goes all over the place. If you fire the m14 EBR in full auto you won't be firing accurately at all. The only gun without much is the m4, which kind of makes sense. Also shotguns with realistic range for once. This is singleplayer stuff though.
I love how you people say its a rip off of CoD, its supposed to be a representation of what special forces do in real life. Just because they do something in the game that was also done in CoD and OMG also what they do in real life doesnt mean its a rip off.
I'm pretty sure Special Forces don't do half the shit you do in this game on a daily basis.
Well no shit, they dont cut the power and break into a room everyday, just some. You just cant compare every modern genre fps to CoD, all fps are the same thing no shit there gonna be similar, this game wasn't created intended to hur dur lets copy mw2 and make some moneyz.
this game wasn't created intended to hur dur lets copy mw2 and make some moneyz.
Yeah actually it was. That's all it's been marketed as since it was announced. It was supposed to be the Call of Duty killer.

MOH seems a bit more tame in that regard, at least from what I've seen in the trailers. As for the actual gameplay itself, yeah it's a COD clone. It feels, looks and plays like COD minus some of the really over the top michael bay shit (albeit some is still present).
I'll probably rent this for the Singleplayer,
Don't waste your money, you'll beat it 4 hours, tops. [editline]14th October 2010[/editline]
[sp]Damnit, why did Rabbit have to die! :( [/sp] The ending was sad.
I don't see how its sad that a few guys with no personalities you've only seen for like an hour and a half die.
Playing on hard with a pistol this is the easiest game I've ever played
tag your spoilers.
PEOPLE DIE IN A GENERIC WAR GAME Spoiler alert
Single player story and gameplay was way cooler than COD
lolwtf game you playing this game made me realize how good mw2 is
unparalleled realism
We take what we spend our money on very seriously, yes
If you consider buying a video game very serious, you need to go outside more.
I haven't followed this thread or game for very long, but from what I've seen, this game looks like complete shit.
This game has one of the shittiest knife animations ever
lolwtf game you playing this game made me realize how good mw2 is
Believable story, better gameplay, i don't have to hear oscar mike every 5 fucking seconds the MP can suck a dick for all I care, but the singleplayer is pretty goddamn solid
Believable story, better gameplay, i don't have to hear oscar mike every 5 fucking seconds the MP can suck a dick for all I care, but the singleplayer is pretty goddamn solid
Gameplay is essentially the same except for a few new mechanics as far as I've seen. They don't use Oscar Mike, but they use other military abbreviations out the ass.
