Gameplay is essentially the same except for a few new mechanics as far as I've seen. They don't use Oscar Mike, but they use other military abbreviations out the ass.
The gameplay is way better, hard mode actually feels fair yet challenging unlike in COD where the enemies have full accuracy and aim for you and noone else.
Shooting feels better, and theres tons more dust and shit which really adds to the atmosphere
here's a bunch of bad heavily scripted buggy half assed sequences
oh boy awesome

Considering everything below hard is really easy, so I think that kind of negates the whole 'Hard is challenging' thing. WOAH MAN DUST THAT CLEARLY MAKES UP FOR THE LACK OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, REPLAYABILITY, COHERENT STORYLINE, AND LENGTH.
So what's the overall verdict from you guys?
Complete waste of my money.

don't waste your money like these fools

Sounds pretty bad. I'd recommend giving it a quick rent just to get your fill of alternate firing modes and leaning, but other than that...
Rent it and finish the singleplayer in a night. The multiplayer so far isn't solid.

Are you implying COD has any of those
Are you implying COD has any of those
Pfft, no, they're both terrible. I'm just saying Medal of Honor is pretty bad, I'm not comparing it to anything, it can be bad enough just fine on it's own.

Medal of Honor wasn't even close to being bad, have you even played it?
Also COD isn't terrible its actually a great shooter, just saying MOH is way better
I played it it was BAD
MP is still trash, but I had fun playing the singleplayer. Yeah, it was buggy as hell and I only remember like 2 characters, but damn it had some really great moments. Even though it was shorter and buggier, it was a more exciting ride then and CoD I've ever played. Not worth $60 in the slightest, so just rent it if you have nothing better to do for the next 5 hours.

PS Chinooks are RPG magnets
I liked the campaign.
Why do people keep saying both this and CoD are horrible games that should never be payed for? I can't think of anything wrong with CoD except maybe the repetativeness in the multiplayer but the singleplayer for both games is great. I bet half the people that bitch about how both are shit have never actually played either of them.
Campaign is only 6 hours long, focus online game play. I wish.. stop with it you damn company's.

I like to liken the games industry to the movie industry, helps to illustrate my points.
The COD series is like a Michael Bay film. Lots of dumb, somewhat entertaining ridiculous over the top shit that the idiot masses lap up like crack. Lacks any real substance or quality however. Despite the fact that when you actual stop and look, that it's a piece of shit, it still manages to blow out the box offices.
As far as quality and substance goes, there are many better games out there, but much like an high quality film, while they will receive awards and commendations, they won't get the attention of the masses.

I dont understand how CoD has no substance or quality, have you even played the singeplayer? The CoD modern warfare storylines is probably one of the best that i've seen in any game recently, sure it's a bit rediculous but who cares as long as its fun. I do agree with the fact its massively overrated and is no where near the 'best game evar' but it doesn't deserve all the hating it gets either :/
Thank god for the beta, it made me steer well clear of this heap of crap.
The only thing good in this game are the sounds IMO ...
COD has tons of substance
the level designs are amazing
i love playing them on veteran because it forces you to approach situations differently, you really begin to appreciate the design of the levels
moh is my way of the highway and their way is a heavily scripted half assed mess

That's why I love CoD2, in all campaings you have several ways to approach a situation and several paths you can take to reach an objective, unlike the mostly linear first game. Remember The Sniper Silo mission and "Retaking Lost Ground"?

no it is you can shoot people through 10 walls with snipers an blow pepl up wif grenad lawnchairs
Ahahaha, just finished the entirety of SP in a little over 2 hours. I haven't started on MP yet, but I will later on.
It's a lot of fun, but not £30 worth of fun. There's a FUCKLOAD of bugs and AI glitches ([sp]at the end of the first ranger level where you are saved in the nick of time by the heli, one of my teammates got STUCK IN PART OF THE HOUSE THAT FELL DOWN. Had to restart the mission.[/sp]) but some of the levels are a lot of fun (IE the [sp]helicopter level[/sp]).
Also, the ending was complete boolsheet

I've played through CoD2 more times than I can count. It's easily my favorite CoD game.
ITT: More posts about the call of duty series then medal of honor.

Every single level is linear; you MUST take the only entrance all the time, while half of your squad pushes you out of cover.

Then I suggest you turn the difficulty up to medium. Makes it so you actually almost nearly die, and the AI knows where to shoot...
