all i see is blind hate. nobody provides any points as to why it's a waste of money, and the others: "i played teh beta it r teh suk"
-5 hour long campaign -MP is pretty much a BC2 downgrade, not much has changed since the beta
BC2/MW2 had extremely short campaigns also, i did them in about 4 hours ea. Ontop of that, BC2 had a pretty bad MP as far as hit detection goes. In this, I can actually kill someone with a reasonable amount of hits. opinions, i suppose.

No, I played it. SP was fantastic, MP, while lacking in the weapons and vehicles department is fun. I haven't run into any 'bugs' glitches, or 'balance issuses' thus far don't know where ya'll gettin yer shit from
Trust me, it just sucks.
Haha, 'buggy sp', what the fuck are you smoking. The only bugs I saw were my own fault, shooting guys in the head when they had debris around them and making their ragdoll spazz.
I like how everyone was bashing mw2 for it's short sp and now they are ok with this one.
from what I can tell, it's changed a shit ton since the beta, the matchmaking feature is still shit and broken, but the actual mp gameplay is fun. It's an excellent balance between mw2 and bc2. It's lone-wolfy enough to where you don't need a squad, but still requires team work. Campaign was short but still fun.
I like how everyone was bashing mw2 for it's short sp and now they are ok with this one.
I don't think people bashed it for it's short sp, just the shit mp, the plot hole filled campaign, the Michael bay special effects= plot hole filler, and m. Night shamalamalon wannabe storyline.
I think I'd pick this up when it's cheaper or in the bargain bins at Xmas. They've had a lot of time to develop, so a four hour singleplayer isn't enough. Apparently all the multiplayer maps are the same. At the moment with Reach being out and COD7 coming out in a few weeks, there are far too many superior shooters on the market. Only selling point for me was Battlefield 3 beta. So I'd pick this up when it gets real cheap just for that.
-5 hour long campaign
Why do people still bitch at these things. When you bought the game were you expecting a long and refreshing, ground breaking experience from a generic linear FPS number 2521? I checked out some trailers and knew exactly what I was buying and was not dissapointed in any way. Sorta like a cheesy action movie, the second you start looking for a deeper meaning to it or try and figure out the plot you instantly lose any interest in said movie. So just dont think about the plot or the games length which wasn't THAT short and enjoy it while it lasts and for all it's worth.
I got this a couple days ago as a gift and I instantly found the SP to be lacking considerably... I want to return the game, i got it for PS3, but I wont be able to return it until next Monday, if they still will let me do that. I also typed in the promo code inside the case.. but those fuckers at EB won't know that.
I think if this game was in a bargain bin I'd buy it. Doesn't seem like something I'd want to play all over again.
I wish they didn't remove so much SP content in the multiplayer.
I'm enjoying the Singleplayer campaign, I've never felt firefights to be as intense as those in the Medal of Honor story
ah i see your one of those people where the game has to be super realistic where your given like 10 bullets for a mission, no wonder you don't like CoD.
Actually I despise realistic games with a passion. Hated Red Orchestra and ArmA almost instantly and I'd take Painkiller or Unreal Tournament or Duke Nukem or something over them any day. I also liked a lot of the previous CoDs, like 2 and 4.
I'm enjoying the Singleplayer campaign, I've never felt firefights to be as intense as those in the Medal of Honor story
Same. I just love the firefights.
The singleplayer's brilliant but short, and the multiplayer's okay if you find a nice team deathmatch server with 6-10 players and join with a friend. But like I said last page, I wish they didn't remove a bunch of features the singleplayer had from the multiplayer. Leaning, proning, sliding, night-vision, firing modes, the chamber staying in the gun when reloading, etc. I don't see why they had to remove all of this (okay, if they remove some ie. proning) because they were really neat. I've probably missed several, too. Oh, also the HUD in singleplayer looks way better.

Since the SP uses a different engine, and they had the base gameplay with all that stuff already from Airborne, while MP was a modified BC2, which didn't have any of those things.

That seemed so much cooler.
Is it good or not?
Worth a rent, multiplayer isn't that great but the singleplayer is amazing but too short
It's too bad you can't just rent for the PC. Oh well.
I'm enjoying the Singleplayer campaign, I've never felt firefights to be as intense as those in the Medal of Honor story
Wish the game would tell you when to push, though...spent probably 15 minutes on the last firefight, my rock cover being chipped away before I decided to make a rush to the ledge on the left, and only then did they advance the story line...jeez!
You know, I sat there the other day wondering why every other motherfucker and his brother is sniping. Then I played on Kandahar as sniper, My question was answered, as I went 16-2 for most of the match. :buddy:
I'm enjoying the Singleplayer campaign, I've never felt firefights to be as intense as those in the Medal of Honor story
The opening to the final mission was badass.
I wish the MP7 and M60 were unlockable. I'm also wondering where the RPK went..
I wish the MP7 and M60 were unlockable. I'm also wondering where the RPK went..
How about 870?
I liked BC2 a lot and didn't hate MW2, would I like this?
I liked BC2 a lot and didn't hate MW2, would I like this?
SP, definitely. MP, needs balancing a lot, bugfixing, and invisible map glitches ruin it.
