The last truly great Online First Person Shooter for PC was Delta Force 2
The last truly great Online First Person Shooter for PC was Delta Force 2
What? There were plenty of good online pc shooters since then.
But I said great!
TF2 and Battlefield 2 are widely considered to be pretty amazing, that's better than great.
Incredible single player campaign, very short (probably 4 hours) but doesn't outstay its welcome with a lot of variety. The sounds are unbelievable, the story is okay, overall an enjoyable game. If it were a bit longer maybe I would give it a 9/10, but because of the length 7/10.
The last truly great Online First Person Shooter for PC was Delta Force 2
I played that game so much but I don't think I ever actually completed a campaign mission I just fucked around
Did you guys play it on hard? And I just got to Tier 1 Recruit in the Special Ops class, when do I get to start customizing my beard?
I played it on veteran
Just beat the whole thing in one sitting. I am disappoint. MP is just BC2 reskinned and SP was way too shot and uninteresting.
Singleplayer was by far the most intense story I've played through in a shooter, way way way too short though. I thought Modern Warfare 2 was short O_O I enjoyed MP in Beta and I'm enjoying it now, it's the first CQB game in awhile where sniping is actually fun and not a stupid minigame with quikscoping and hardscoping and all the other stupid names for it you faggots have. What it is for me in Moh is, BLOODY HEAD EXPLOSION TIEM. Loved the lean system in SP
More like Medal of Modern Warfare.
How about 870?

I wish the MP7 and M60 were unlockable. I'm also wondering where the RPK went..
The MP7 and 870 are. You had to pre-order it though. [editline]16th October 2010[/editline] I, personally, loved the singleplayer. I can't paly multiplayer, as I don't have XBox Live so I can't speak for that. But it's a great game, and worth buying.
Just played the campaign. There were some moments that brought me back to the old school mindset of the older CoD's and MoH's, with the "flank the gunners" parts and stuff, but when the ending screen came up, I thought it was a joke. Weakest ending to a game ever.
The MP7 and 870 are. You had to pre-order it though.
No, I mean unlocking through usual means instead of just an exclusive.

it's dumb to compare the campaign to bc2
i just beat the campaign and it was pretty good but seems a bit short

Any chance of mods coming out?
SP was nice but way too short and I hated the ending ( massive spoiler: [sp] why kill rabbit, i hate endings like this because everything you did as that character feels like it was a waste of time. why can't we just have happy endings these days? [/sp] )
[sp]Their making it realistic, and in real life, things don't always have a happy ending.[/sp]
What was with that [sp]shot of the people in the cafe saying they spotted their guy[/sp] was that a hint at a sequel or something?
What was with that [sp]shot of the people in the cafe saying they spotted their guy[/sp] was that a hint at a sequel or something?
I hope so, it looked even more tier 1 covert ops stuff, I wish there were more tier 1 missions in MoH.
Yeah the stealth missions were really well done
It most likely is a hint at a sequel. I remember reading something somewhere about how this isn't going to be the only modern war related MoH game. I was quite confused myself when watching that part of the ending.
[sp]Their making it realistic, and in real life, things don't always have a happy ending.[/sp]
Doesn't make up for a shit ending. It can be realistic AND good, which this was not. I'd rather an unrealistic fun ending than [sp]the guy you've built up in your mind just kinda dying off like a redshirt.[/sp]
What was with that [sp]shot of the people in the cafe saying they spotted their guy[/sp] was that a hint at a sequel or something?
[sp]I think it was the beginning, when the OPFOR was waiting to ambush Taric.[/sp] [sp]lol OPFOR[/sp] [editline]16th October 2010[/editline] But the singleplayer was hella fun though, even if buggy. My favorite part was when [sp]you were playing as the Ranger defending the hut. I forgot to ask my teammate for ammo and when I did it was already too late. I eventually ran out and was forced to use my pistol. Just when they were about to overrun us the Apaches showed up and I was like FUCK YEAH COOL POSE.[/sp]
Awesome campaign but short. The music is fucking brilliant. [sp]when you were defending the hut there was this sad music and I really felt like I was going to die fighting and holding on for as long as I could, but then I heard apaches and this badass music gets up and I'm like yeaaah. [/sp]
The multiplayer's still shit though
