Nothing like HL2 IMO
Never saw it either, all I saw were Common Infected.
Lemme get a screenshot. Huh... I could have sworn there was one dead guy with a headcrab on his head in the safe house. Must have mistaken his infuriatingly light head of hair for a headcrab. My mistake.
That was utter shit for two years of development. I'm not saying I can do better, because I definitely cannot. But you honestly would expect alot more than 11 fucking minutes from two years.

I think what has happened here is yalls got way too hyped up over what was essentially just some nerds making a mediocre backyard movie with some cool effects.
Good thing I didn't know this was being made it's just a hipster running around who eventually kills himself
It might have been better if they had abandoned the Half-Life premise and just gone with an original/generic post-apoc storyline or something, because there were so many things that weren't Half-Life. (Which I understand were caused by the budget) If they had done that, I would probably be judging it more on its artistic merits than its inaccuracies.

There's no reason whatsoever that they couldn't make it longer, and I think part of why it had such a dumb ending was that they didn't want to make it longer.
They probably filmed it in like an hour and then the editor who did the effects probably just thought every day "I'll do it tomorrow" for 2 years
I also remember there being a scene where they went through some tunnels and were on a truck in a trailer, maybe that was Escape from City 17 though but you can obviously tell they copped out on making it longer by a "hurr durr rather die than be caught" suicide ending
