THe episode 2 running slowly on my laptop made me glad i had an xbox to run it on.
i could not get passed the first loading scene on hl2 with computer
added 2gb more ram, and i couldnt get passed the strider finale on episode 2.
Now with this laptop i did all that, and play tf2 with graphics turned down but i have a shoddy video card.
i will not be able to play epi 3 or l4d2 on this :(

I mean, the man went through all that crap he had to go through in Opposing Force, it'd be only right that he gets at least a cameo or something. I'd like to imagine all the events happened, though.

I reckon Valve are going to be scrambling back to their desks to get Ep3 done as soon as L4D2 ships. They know how pissed we all are that it's not here yet.

I used to think they should do a new engine, but L4D2 actually looks pretty fucking incredible both graphically and under the hood.

Proof that even though the Source engine is getting quite old, it's still holding up pretty well, as Lt Kyle pointed out.
Besides, I like how they're still using the source engine. Even with new looks it gives their games a sense of familiarity going all the way back to Half-Life 2.

Yeah, but then like with F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn your character would go AWOL and start shooting friendlies (friendlies being the combine) and helping the enemy (enemy being the rebels), it's just a classic twist where a addon-pack for a game in which you play as the "opposing force" (good eh?).
