That game is ridiculous. You could shoot an enemy in the arm with a rifle/carbine and it would come off as if the bullet was a tank shell.

FEAR 1 wasn't that gory, sure you could blow off limbs, but there were no real gibs, and the 'alma eats your meat then paints the walls with it' scenes were more funny than disgusting.

FEAR didn't have much gore, as I recall. I don't recall blowing limbs off...
Games will never show what real gore is like because ESBR is a bunch of cunt-snozzling douche-eaters..
I just tried Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix.
Where is all the gore? It's pretty bloodless, the limbs fly and vanish and there is barely any gore even though I have it set to "Full violence"

The new level of gore in L4D 2 is nice, not the goriest but I was happy to be greeted with a shower of limbs when I first caught 30ish infected with a pipe bomb. It's also pretty cool blasting one in the chest with a shotty and looking at the nice cavity you left in their chest afterwords. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to apply to the special infected at all from what I can tell...they just kind of fall over or pop from what I've seen.

I remember entering bullet-time with a shotgun, running up to a guy, shooting him, tearing him in two, and while his SMG was flying through the air, I catch it and continue fighting with the other enemies.
Man, that game is one of the best first-person shooters ever made.
How come these are the goriest games, movies far surpass the gore levels in some of these.

What about Bio Shock. That game was gory even the characters were gory. Like the splicers. There is worse but its up there.

Because the media would flip it's shit if a game is as realistically gory as some movies are. Double standard kind of deal.
