I dont see why he would be angry at people making profit.
I don't see why someone would shove a remote up their ass after having their WoW subscription cancelled.
Simply put, people take the internet and games way too seriously.
Whenever people underprice stuff on the AH, I buy it up and sell it for more, instant profit for stuff like Fel Iron Ore which is like 110g a stack on my server when they underprice it by almost half.
Some guy gave me 35g for a Holiday Spirit (He was literally four yards away from the vendor that sold it)
Buying things from the vendor and reselling them is hilariously easy. Check the prices of enchanting vellum. I've seen them sell for anywhere from 1g to 10g each.
They're 10s from the vendor.
When I played WOW I did that exact thing one year. Made a killing. Lost some profits though when others caught on to my scheme and sold it for cheaper.
Damn, too bad I don't play it anymore, or I would have sold a whole lot of shit for that cost.
Problem is that when you start doing them in huge quantities, people start wondering where they come from (because there are so many, they must be easy to get, they think) and google it. Then they don't buy them anymore, and they might even start selling (and undercutting you).
Tested this out before I server switched. I started putting more and more up, and saw some of my old buyers become sellers.
I undercut by 25-70% just to get 4-5 people /w me that im a douche and an idiot.
Ice cold malk
Easy profit, but I do hate undercutters. The ones that are most stupid are when you're selling stuff for 300g and they cut straight to 100g. Why not in smally increments?
some people like making money as opposed to having things on the AH for weeks on end?
People put things on the AH at a price they'd pay for them, and that's less than what the current ones are.
Many reasons really.

Thats part of how the market works.

But it seems really stupid to undercut by so much right away. They were going from 300g--->100g in one undercut when the item usually sells for around 250g.

Some people dont want the hassel of having to wait and see if they themselves will be undercut. They just hit a low price right away.
in a perfect world, everyone would undercut by 1 copper increments
Fuck that, I utterly hate that. That's cheap as hell, it pisses me off when I catch people doing that shit.
Actually, nevermind. I absolutely love undercutters, I buy all their items piss cheap then wait a day and resell those items at full price :)
This no longer works anymore what you see on the AH is people posting inflated goods so that when people scan their database sees the cheaper auctions and viable auctions to buyout for reselling.
I'm brand new to WoW and I've found making money is freaking easy! All I've ever had to do was go mining for 5 minutes, smelt, and put some parts together. Not only does it increase my engineering and mining but I always make a profit. Same thing when I level it up and can make super awesome trinkets.
My brother made about 200 gold just by mining some ore, smelting it and putting it on the AH. All in maybe an hour or two of work on a level 10 char.
