Silencer : Less damage, less recoil. It's this simple.
Silencer does not hide your location at all. You can easily pin point your enemy when they shoot no matter the gun.

With CS:S, or more specifically the beta, all you're seeing is some expressionless or masked fellow with a gun after they killed you - nothing really special, funny, cool or such. And with TF2, atleast you respawned; with CS:S, you don't, which makes it more aggrivating to get a close-up of the bastard who killed you and how much health they had left.

Hm. Do no skins work with the beta yet? I'm kinda annoyed that this MW2 hand pack (not a fan of the game itself, just think the hands would be cool) didn't work.
I still can't play, what the fuck? Any way to stop steam from validating files?
