Counter-Strike: Source Beta Launches! (Don't make other threads.) - Games

Holy shit, the new flashlight and smoke effects are amazing. But I'm still very dissapointed by the lack of actual gameplay changes. You might as well have pulled a polish text fix on this.

I wonder if they plan and updating the gun models at some point if they're doing this.

When the beta is over and it becomes a major update for css, would it break some HL2 mods that require css like smod tactical?

You should be able to get the map from the server now, reconnect, or better still, download using the link above.

Too bad the beta doesn't change anything in the gameplay, CS is still a piece of shit.

Also the bomb effect is just Ep2's strider burst on the nuke at the end.
