Are you sure they didn't just leave the L4D2 "buy me please" trailer from the demo in the game files?
Quick, someone put the l4d2 files in a game that you recently pre-purchased that is going to come out soon in it's folder, and see if it decrypts.
Hopefully this means that L4D2 has a different intro than the demo.

IIRC, each game is encrypted with its own key. If you put it in a different folder, it wouldn't decrypt because it wouldn't use the right one.
Also, for reference, the next unreleased game to go live is Star Trek D.A.C. on Thursday.

Yea, thats why there is no, "l4d2_campaign01_cutscene" or something similar in each folder. At first Valve said so, but then they said it would take too much time and money, so they only did a cinematic trailer and intro, like the first.

But it wouldn't fit well, you hear the chainsaw revving and the music continues past the end of the original video. It's not the intro.
Just rename to valve.bik
It will replace the valve intro, so you take a look to it

If you think the problem it's on the .ncfs, L4D2 files are in the "common" folder (Sure you know).

The files are encrypted, the only way to access them is to first decrypt it. And that program has nothing to do with the process of decrypting the files.
I found a software to unlock *.VPK files on cs.rin.ru, is it safe to use?
