It looks as though this Herbert Von Bern character may be a Goon front man so it's important to get in and vote for Monkey.
For those without eSK citizenship yet best you can do for now is to keep an eye on the news and get your votes in on FP news to take them to top news and also get plenty of supportive comments in.
The media in eSK is pretty dead right now and so we have a perfect opportunity to dominate it with our positive articles and comments.
I'm currently working with Athasnim in SC798 party but I recommend everyone else goes and joins PIMP and gets there votes in for Monkey early. The quicker we build up a buffer of votes the more likely they are to go vote elsewhere.
Remember that you get free XP for voting so even if you don't care about politics you can do us a favor and get yourself some XP by making the huge effort of clicking the 'vote' button on election day on the 15th.
If anybody owns a weapon company or knows anyone who owns a weapons company, I just purchased an Iron company in a high-iron region in US-controlled land and I'm exporting iron to South Korea. It would be greatly appreciated to spread the word about it, because I'm only doing it to help the country.

Previously we were thinking about possibly starting up a FP-run weapons company. Me and monkey have more than enough money to run it, and if we can get some FPers to work for it then we could potentially build up a significant weapons stockpile. Even if we only wanted to operate the company for about a week or two we could potentially build up a stockpile of about 200 weapons.
This could be a great opportunity because if eSK ever gets into trouble we could personally use our forces to help protect the country.
So if we went through with that we could be your market for iron.

I highly recommend waiting quite a long time before starting up a business. It's a pretty difficult thing to maintain and can cost you lots of gold if it's done incorrectly. Right now I'm sitting on an iron company that I invested 70 gold in and it could still go wrong for me.

I'm a little confused what you mean. To span globally, you would need lots of export licenses, and each one costs 20 gold, plus you would need many employees to produce enough to sell on many markets.

I'm going to guess you gave it chance after chance working and training each day. If you're looking for reward, get involved in politics. That requires a tiny bit of effort: going to your country's forum, talking to people, writing a newspaper, and all-around being active.

I understand that. It seems that the fun of this game is largely in RPing, and not in the game itself.

Where did you get that info? I'm a Facepunch eRepublik veteran, I fought alongside Jesseluver and monkey111 back in the German Independence War. Maybe it would have been a better idea to ask people than to confront me about being a goon.

Yes I've sold half of my stock already, I've been in a battle with you this morning for cheapest Q1 food on the market! Possibly we could have a joint union of sorts, to force prices of food up because right now they are hovering around 0.20-0.40 KRW a piece, and I'm sure you agree that this is hard to try and break even.
Luckily my company I bought has a stock of 3 Gold and 47 KRW already, so that's a few days wages etc. covered already.

I don't think eSK is big enough yet to support two FP Q1 Food Companies. One of you should upgrade to Q3. If you don't have enough gold maybe we could all have a whip round and get you an interest free FP loan.
