Just an example.
Getting the mats is the annoying bit of leveling tailoring if your character isn't already 50 or higher - plus the fact that practically no-one wants to buy low level pieces so there's usually no profit until Master except on a few desirable patterns like Tuxedo outfits, and even they aren't as popular as they used to be. If you're leveling it on a character that's already 80 though I imagine it's very easy and you won't notice the cost.
I guess if there are a lot of new players after Christmas there may be some market for robes and such but the number of people leveling as cloth wearers seems to be reducing - on my server anyway.

The thing that annoys me about tailoring is that you actually have to go out and kill things to get the mats that you need. Leatherworking is in a similar state, but its never seemed as bad to me.
With mining and herbalism, you just fly around and drop down on shit when it shows up on the mini map.
You'd probably get a decent amount just going round doing your dailys.
Plus frostweave is very inexpensive anyway so its probably worth buying in bulk off the AH or trade.

That depends entirely on whether you're using difficulty as a noun (ie. 'Easy Difficulty') or difficulty as an adjective.
Also you can't spell therefore. Therefore your argument counts for nothing.
