Imo, 34-40 are the torture levels.
Try to level through STV what you can, do Ulduman/Mararaudon as much as you can, maybe a little of SM here and there
Do as many scattered quests in Booty Bay as you can, trust me on this
If those areas aren't working for you, try doing a bit of Dustwallow Marsh
Arathi Highland is of course out of question then?

I completely disagree, 34-40 is piss easy if you hit up Dustwallow Marsh, STV, Arathi, Hillsbrad, Alterac, Shimmering Flats in Thousand Needles, etc. The only really crap part in the pre-bc levelling for me, I've found is basically just 10-20 and 50-58.
