Because maybe the technology that was used for whatever that was, was built with a mix of two technologies partially developed by the two companies? It's just a theory.
Eh.
Not impressed.
Nice effects though.
And then later the time line was actually found to coincide with GLaDOS overrunning the enrichment centre, the resonance cascade happening a few days after. And that was in 1997.
Half-Life was set in December 1999. The calendars are all over black mesa.
Also anyone else notice the Dharma/Whiteforest simple on the van at 1:03
Eh.

You're not impressed by this, made by one independent guy who probably worked his ass off just so he can show this to the public to get substandard comments like these?
Even if it was a team collaboration, this is clearly a very high level of work that you don't seem to understand; maybe you're more interested in movies that have explosions and character development about as deep as a puddle then.
Didn't this man make the "What's in the box?" video?
Yes he did.
Yes he did.
No he didn't read the youtube comments from him.
No, I'm not stealing it. My film is based on Half-Life and all it's story. It is about The Seven Hour War from Half-Life's events, WITB has own story. I've borrowed only the name of the Babel Research facility from "What's in the Box?" as association of Black Mesa, Aperture Science and Hanso. I discussed my film with Tim Smit, he was not against.
P.S.* But I plan to refuse communication with the WITB completely...*
I'd rather see escape from city 17 get continued, this doesn't look as good
Is this going to be actually completed, like in theaters, where I can enjoy some popcorn and gummy bears?
Or some fan-made project, that looks epic, but updates like once a year/is just a fan-made trailer that looks great?
It's pretty and all, but that trailer didn't necessarily make me dying to see it. I want some plot info.
It was cool. but seriously.
LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE VALVE. NO REAL INTERESTING NEWS AND NOW WE'RE STARTING TO ENTERTAIN OURSELVES. YOU'RE BRINGING UPON YOUR DOWNFALL!!!
Meh, Although this does look pretty nice, I enjoyed WITB a bit more. Also that vort looks very poorly done.
Enviro-bear at 1:10!
I love trailers that look nice.
Looks bloody awesome. I'm very impressed.
