I hate playing with little kids, period. I think the age for M rated video games should be about.. 14, maybe 15.
I also think if your voice is at a certain pitch, and you register yourself as a male... you should be mic-banned for one full month.
Which means you either grow up and get a lower voice, or you use your brains and get voice modulating software.
I don't want to hear you squeek. Really breaks the immersion for me when I've got a sniper in full ghille suit talking about the jonas brothers over his mic.

Same, I always considered myself belonging in that category a few years ago although I could rarely play then.
Edit: I don't care about high-pitched voices, just about the crying. I.e. adults crying would annoy me just the same.

I try to ignore the part of my brain saying 'this is annoying mute the fucker' when a kid uses the mic and he has a high pitched voice. I don't like to mute people in case they ever have something good to say, and if I mute someone who's in a conversation it's awkward seeing only one half of the conversation.
I had one of those ''gifted'' kids on teamspeak, gifted as in a very high IQ. Don't get me wrong I don't mind when people are smart but I do mind when they actually think that when you have a high IQ you know EVERYTHING. And I swear to fucking Hood, he actually thought he knew everything. He could be a nice guy now and then but most of the times I tried to tackle his intelligence. So imagine a 13 year old who acts like a wise ass and won't shut the fuck up.

No, but if the kid documents every action he does in the game in voice-chat, which I run into a-lot, It gets annoying.

If they aren't annoying, i'm fine with them.
What i find annoying is when people play a game on Xbox live with their friend, and instead of going on party chat or something, they talk about shit to eachother on game chat.
"Oh Corey mannnn i'm going to the store,
"OH YOU BITCH HE KILLED ME BITCH"
"Dude hahaha that was so funny today at school man did you see..."
Or when they talk to their friend who is sat with them in their room and they leave their microphone on.... and you just hear him talking to no one. "Oh yeah sure"..."dunno this gun is awesome".."yeh i know"...
Other than that if they play the game i have no problem.
I switched from console to pc to avoid small children playing with mics. It has worked out well.
Ban all underage 'gaymers' that own a mic.

When I'm joining a server in Day of Defeat I always mute the other guys. It's annoying if some people talk about their asses or heroic adventures.
If it's on a server I own or the owner allows it and I'm an admin, I just semi-politely ask them to stop talking over the microphone if they posses a high-pitched voice.
Otherwise I'll just ignore them if I can't mute them. I'm fine with them as long as they're not annoying and they're not the type of kid that can't differentiate between friend and foe.
I don't mind a mature underaged gamer that doesn't spam the mic. If they're immature, mute.
As it already says: I'm not giving a fuck if they join to have some fun without yelling around.

What I hate more than underaged kids are Russians teams, they fucking join on my team and talk ONLY RUSSIAN, NOT EVEN A WORD OF ENGLISH, the only English they use is when I die or do something bad.
And they ruin mostly games because they:
1. Ragequit
2. Spamming/Trolling
3. Or just suck and blame it on others
And when I try to defend myself they arguments are mostly "ur mum lol".
I don't mind Russians but they completely ignore you if they have a Team.
Was on a gmod server and a 37 years old man and a 10 year old boy was kinda fighting in their mic. Although I can't really say they were fighting, the boy was staying mostly quiet while the man kept on complaining about the boys age and that he shouldn't play this game. Funny but stupid.

Surprising how many of the more mature kids play BF2, if you were to drop into say, a CoD4 or CS: S server they'd all have the collective intelligence of a amoeba.
I don't mind kids playing, so long as they shut up when told, don't start pretending that they are black to look cool (PS3 has lots of this), and preferably, don't keep asking annoying questions. So long as they are not in the way or not talking too much or too loud then I might be fine with them.
Though I'd prefer if kids weren't playing games rated for 18's when they are 12, then think they are ~hardcore~ enough to insult everyone.

Even though I'm fourteen , I have to say ( Not being racist , but as soon as you hear the voice.. you want to kill yourself ) that prepubescent american children spamming the mic are possibly the worst things that the great god imhotep has created.
