I always read that as "Don't dead - open inside"
Fuck, I keep getting invalid steam ID ticket when I try to join a server. Already made a new clientregistry.blob. [editline]2nd December 2011[/editline] and, found the solution [editline]2nd December 2011[/editline] Or not. So is the only fix really to delete everything in the steam folder and start fresh?

So, how active is this mod right now?
So, how active is this mod right now?
It's alright, there's usually a few servers with 4 or 3 people in them for me
Looks amazing, I'm downloading now. [editline]3rd December 2011[/editline]
Fuck, I keep getting invalid steam ID ticket when I try to join a server. now if only the game was much smoother
Can't get it running, using 1.1 and the bugfix from their site and getting a black screen and nothing more.
Can't get it running, using 1.1 and the bugfix from their site and getting a black screen and nothing more.
the mod's been patched up to 1.02b now i believe
There are way too few servers using 1.02b.
There are way too few servers using 1.02b.
I put up my server for a moment, feel free to join it. IP should be 85.224.179.135.
I got 1.02 and its b patch, got reared up to play the game and loaded up the server with 5 or so players. Invalid Steam ID or something like that. What? Yeah, I know I should check the rest of the topic, but what does that even mean?
tried going solo. zombies push you into the corner of the spawn area and rape you.
tried going solo. zombies push you into the corner of the spawn area and rape you.
I only had this problem on Broadway.
now if only the game was much smoother
Note though, that No More Room in Hell runs on S2007, which lacks a working multicore mode. That has quite big impact to the performance.
how many times it have been said, they started it from the scratch in 2009, with a new team.
So? Duke Nukem : Forever took 15 years. And you know they started from scratch several times.
So? Duke Nukem : Forever took 15 years. And you know they started from scratch several times.
Duke had way more resources (both the developer and funding resources), than NMRH. :v:
Am I the only one who can only find 3 servers only?
No, but usually they are broadway, chinatown, and cabin respectively which is nice. Except for once where there was just one server hosting a map with missing textures and survivors just shooting each other with the .22 and M16.
I've been following this mod for about 3 years and just now I realized it got released.. fuck yes!! Hopefuly it will be fun. [editline]20th December 2011[/editline] Also dont forget the 1.02b hotfix, it havent been posted just the 1.02 file.
Personally I think this is actually a good indicator of how well I might do in an irl zombie apocalypse; which is to say: not very. That's the highest praise I can give it. There's no instant-fix medkits and those pills only stave off infection for a minute. Death is final, the zombies are numerous and melee is generally ill-advised (in part due to the wonky melee combat system and some strange decisions concerning damage). It's far from stable but given enough time and patches I think it can become a pretty damn good mod, perhaps even one of the best.
Here's something from last night

This mod is dying off already. TBH, they should've held off release until it was in better shape. As it stands now, they not only need to work out a number of gameplay issues, but desperately add more content.
I'd want to play it but there's not too many maps to play. It kind of got boring after a while.
;34090732']I'd want to play it but there's not too many maps to play. It kind of got boring after a while.
Exactly. And to be honest, they need a variety of gamemodes. Some survival/barricade gameplay would be welcome, because as it stands, once you figure out the current maps, its a matter of running from point A to point B as fast as you can while pressing shove.
What annoyed me the most was dying. Yep, you get this harsh consequence so you try not to die, but if you die cause of some slight mistake, you have to stay dead for another 10-15 minutes, until everyone dies, or until someone reaches a checkpoint and then only one person respawns. It's just really slow and makes me lose interest.
I played a bit by myself and It was okay but I fucking hated the respawning zombies. You turn your back and there's more. I understand if there's a set amount people are just going to clear them all out and it's going to be boring but at least have a set distance they can spawn from. It makes no sense if you walk through a corridor then when you turn around there's 3 more zombies that appear out of no where.
