The only problem I've been having is people having 0 idea how to use compass thus they run around the map aimlessly. Also for some reason no one can see the highlighted objects properly though it might just be Broadway. It's a terrible map I've seen tons of people getting stuck.

You sure? I played Broadway a lot and I only crashed once and it's for the same reason every other map crashed. I do agree that it's badly optimized I get like 30 FPS average when I should get 50 like the other maps.
And NMRiH's unofficial forum troll was on Grim's server, speed hacked and TKed. I took the time to read some his (few) forum posts and I gotta say, he's trying too hard to look clever and he's pretty much proven that his perception of good/bad is trashed and he contradicted himself in that very same post. Reminds me of a round of Chinatown: There was only one guy alive and he forgot the objective so he ran around for 20 minutes and then spammed "OMG WTF DO I DO?!" in the chat before finally commiting suicide.

Press C for the damn compass. Don't expect to win the maps your first time, I've played nmrih for almost a year and I still have trouble with beating the maps.

I've had a piece of "shock" music play when I've been grabbed, it might have just been a coincidence though.
Mod is really good so far, just getting annoyed at the fps drops and the crashes. Still alot of awesome work though, hope to see moar updates
Fucking hell I keep crashing when I get grabbed every like 10 grabs.
I mostly crash on map changes, but sometimes I crash whenever I melee or shoot a zombie, sometimes even when I aim down my sights.
Gotta love engine errors.
I've only crashed on map changes so far, spawning, and everything else, has been okay. Hoping for some major patches soon :p
When I got zombified for the first time, it was pretty horrifying.
I have a good few problems with nmrih from a gameplay standpoint that I can't really be arsed articulating. I'll bulletpoint them.
There's a lack of communication and cohesion between players.
Child zombies are just unsightly and annoying
Zombie spawns are awkward - Clear a room, turn around and it's full of the fuckers again because they spawn right in there. I don't expect it'd be easy to find another way, for indoors at least. I

Friendly fire needs to be toned down or worked around in some way. I've been tk'd while stood next to a zombie that was getting smashed in. There needs to be some kind of peripheral vision indicator or some shit, and maybe some overlay on the gui which shows you the weapon's arc and distance to avoid shit like that
Once infected you're fucked unless you or someone else has pills on them at the time. It should take longer to succumb.
The way the zombies attack you is also kind of fucked. Melee combat needs to be more complex - perhaps difficult, but not based on chance like it seems to be.
Some zombies die in one hit, some take about 20. I've seen 3 guys attacking the same zombie and it still manages to get a swipe or two in, having held them up for about 30 seconds too.
there's probably more that hasn't crossed my mind yet. I'm sure a lot of this shit will be sorted soon enough though.
Is it just me or is the rescue helicopter partially invisible?

This so much! Friendly fire is one of the most annoying things in this game

I love this game, it does have a few problems and could be better optimized, and the hit-detection needs to be fixed, but besides the crashing (which seemed to stop now), its great. Its pretty stable/playable for a beta release, and had a great time halloween night playing it. I guess problems are different for everyone..

This game is hilarious and difficult with two people. And those fucking girl zombies are hilarious.
The 3rd person animations are pretty bad but I'm hoping that's just because of it being a beta. Hit detection is absolutely horrible, that or the zombies just have absurd amounts of varying health, one zombie dies in 1 hit to the chest, another zombie takes 20 hits to the head. Logic, where art thou?

Oh this is real fucking stupid, melee, walk up to them to hit, 4 times you hit them, no death, 5th time, they grab, oh hey look you're screwed.
Some of my thoughts on morbo's points.
Yeah the little kid zombies are really annoying. Their damage and health should definitely be lowered if possible.
Maybe make it so in order for zombies to respawn in the map they have to spawn far away and walk towards gunshots or police sirens.
I've already been griefed by kids randomly killing each other in spawn, its really annoying. Some sort of forgive/slay tk plugin for servers would be good. There's also a problem with afk players. If someone goes afk at the start and the whole team dies, the round never ends. Maybe make it so after 5 minutes or so zombies break in through some part of the spawn and kill anyone who hasn't left.
When I get infected I would love to be able to get all the zombies chasing me so when I die they start feeding on my corpse or some cool shit like that so my team can get away safely.
Great work so far, I can tell this is going to be an amazing mod.
Probably one of the best source mods. Very cool concept, high qaulity content, but it is pretty buggy and not many maps. Though those should be sorted out in due time.

For its current release, I find it very fun. But the major problem is the hit detection and the re-spawning zombies. It needs to be toned down.
Whats the point of clearing a hallway and then searching the adjacent rooms for loot if as soon as you get out of the room (only to find there was nothing inside at all, this should happen a lot less) you find that the hallway is repopulated with 8 more zombies. It punishes exploration and encourages rushing (which only works if you have competent team members). Also, the muzzle flash on the assault rifle is hilariously bad.
Also, team killing is way too easy. You do the same damage to each other as you do to the zombies. This coupled with the bad hit detection is a recipe for disaster. All anyone has to do is sprint towards a pistol or shotgun in spawn and then one hit everyone else who can't defend themselves because they have melee weapons.
And another thing, as long as the round hasn't started (The spawn door isn't opened) people should be able to join. A lot of times I've found that 3 people join faster than the other 5, and the round starts with them even though they haven't opened the exit door.
And a small complaint with Cabin's spawn, its really awkward and dark which makes it hard to find things.

I haven't even been able to play Broadway, out of 8 tries only one has been successful but this guy teamkilled everyone at spawn and then the server shut down. The other 7 times the map was bugged and was all errors and wireframe.
I think killing zombies in real life would be much easier than killing zombies in this game.
Someone needs to make a map where the 8 players spawn in duos across a city map, and they have to fight to a random objective to meet up.
also i think the FF is fine, it just needs an option to turn it off. i love the idea of like, you can die so easily due to stupid mistakes. it causes more drama when you accidently a teammate, and he turns into a zombie.

It causes annoyance.
It'd be nice if they actually made it so that a headshot consistently drop a zombie in one hit. And make the pistols a tad more accurate. Though this might just be because of the bad hit detection I keep hearing about.
Also, making the shotguns sound a little meaner would be nice, they sound wimpy right now.
