[QUOTE=phill977;17352268]For Resident Evil 5 on PC; is it mouse control as well? I remember RE4, with it's full keyboard controls.. pissed me off.[/QUOTE] It's great but I haven't played RE4 on the PC so I can't say how much big of an improvement it is.
Sometimes crashes because of some strange memory overflow shit.
[QUOTE=phill977;17352268]For Resident Evil 5 on PC; is it mouse control as well? I remember RE4, with it's full keyboard controls.. pissed me off.[/QUOTE] It is very much improved over RE4. They did a very good job of the port.

COMPLETE...GLOBAL..SATURATION...UGGGURGGGG.... Wesker is so epic.
How do you kill that big bat thing you meet early in the game?
Thanks :D
Wow. You needed someone to explain how to kill that? Is that your first boss ever? Who would think to shoot the blatant weak point?
So, RE5 Gold Edition will be out! It'll be on the PS3 for $49.99 (includes new episode and full game) and will also have a voucher to download the 360 version. Weird... The new Episode takes place before RE5 on Chris and Jill's last mission. I wonder if there will be zombies. [editline]08:50AM[/editline] Apparently there are two episodes. Second one is yet to be announced. I'm planning on renting Darkside soon. Hope that'll be good.

I don't see how zombies would fit in there, I doubt Spencer would have zombies running around his mansion, plus anything guarding him is dead when you get there anyways (since Wesker had already gone through the place). Well we already know who the final boss will be. I'll wait for more details before judging though.
Maybe he'll have security. Or maybe Wesker will unleash a T-Virus in the mansion.
Probably BOWs

RE: Outbreak still holds the record for most fun in a Resident Evil game. I cried on the last night before they took the servers down.
Resident Evil 2 will always have a special place in my heart, nothing can compare to the experience I had when playing it.
[QUOTE=Let Down;16368730][IMG]http://i31.tinypic.com/16kt3lt.jpg[/IMG] Best Resident Evil ever made was the remake for gamecube imo, i picked up the wii version to add to my collection of resident evil and i must say they got the controls down to an art now :)[/QUOTE] Is it different at all from the gamecube version other than Wii controls?
Nope.
REmake is fucking incredible.
REmake and RE0 are the only non-spinoff RE games I don't own/haven't beaten.
[QUOTE=Take_Opal;18501759]REmake and RE0 are the only non-spinoff RE games I don't own/haven't beaten.[/QUOTE] REmake is cool, scares the living fuck out of me though, I can't play it.
Hooray! I just picked up RE0 and (sadly) REmake Wii. I'd prefer the gamecube version but I couldn't find it. I also bought a GC controller, MGS Twin Snakes, and DBZ Burst Limit. [editline]01:07AM[/editline] If I see te original REmake then I'll probably pick it up cause I'm a faggot collector. Most expensive hobby ever [editline]01:30AM[/editline] Anyone know if this Verticle captioning goes away in REmake Wii? [editline]02:27AM[/editline] Found out it's cause I had it set to Widescreen
I was disappointed[sp]they killed off (at least it appears that way) Wesker in RE5, hes been in like every RE even if only mentioned as being involved. I personally thought his death didn't do him Justice, although I suppose him being in nearly every RE game called for him to die so someone else can take the spotlight, I'm still disappointed. I'd of also preferred he died looking human and not transforming like he did.[/sp]
I bet he'll be back. In an omnipresence way.

I think the developers gave him such a controversial death (he dodged the missiles) because they are unsure what to do, they will probably try a new villain in RE6, but they know that the new guy being even comparable to Wesker will be impossible. Also some say that Wesker's dodge was a bug, but in the extra "making of" videos they clearly state that, with the new filming method, they could rewind and change even just a second of the cutscene without doing it all over again, and that therefore they were sure that everything went as they wanted (so if it had been a bug it would never have made it into the final version, especially considering it's in one of the most important moments of the game). So yeah, they'll have a new villain in RE6 like they did in RE4, and then Wesker will be back (it will take a while though).[/sp] [editline]11:35AM[/editline] Also it seems that Wesker somehow found his way to Lost Planet, he'll be in LP2 (multiplayer of course).
I'm interested in RE6, they've said it's ANOTHER revamping.

I'm actually a bit torn about the series. What can they really do now? I mean they can only make so many "official" sequels before they start creating plots just for the sake of it. I understood RE4 (to an extent), but IMO that ship has sailed. What I'm getting at is, with the death of Wesker, Umbrella, the Las plagues whatever the fuck it's called (IMO I don't see how the LP virus (of sorts) will mean anything, more so since the last game made Uroboros appear as a far greater threat) they are chewing through what made Resident Evil, Resident Evil. Eventually I foresee them creating new plots that have little to nothing to do with anything RE1-5 thus losing the feel of Resident Evil, which to me, I only get because it involves Umbrella and the characters surrounding that story, without that it's just another survival horror game (or action shooter in the case of RE4-5).[/sp] In short, I feel the Resident Evil (at least what made it Resident Evil to me) series is coming to an end.
I'd like to see new characters, new location, horror, and zombies. I also thought, if they remade the original RE but with RE5's aspects. I know RE has been remade, but I thought the game would be pretty damn scary in the photo realistic Spencer mansion.

The series should end with Wesker's death (an epic death, not that shit in RE5) or with him succeeding (I'd be more for the latter, heroes winning got boring 5 years ago). I completely agree that if a new plot is created now, with new characters, corporations and villains it just won't feel like RE, so if Wesker really is dead and Umbrella therefore finished, the series should die with him.[/sp] [sp]If he is dead, that is. I think that the above is the exact reason why Capcom made his death so suspicious, so that they may bring him back in case of need (which they are nearly sure will arise).[/sp] [editline]12:00PM[/editline] [QUOTE=Take_Opal;18524653]I'd like to see new characters, new location, horror, and zombies. Honestly the ending of RE5 fucked everything up hard, nobody liked it, it wasn't epic, it left few ways to take after it but still managed to leave loads of loose ends that are too insignificant to actually warrant a full game.
