I always felt that if the series ought to end[sp]with Wesker dieing[/sp], the game should have all of the characters from the previous games, as [sp]Weskers[/sp] fucked with them in one way or another.

Aren't they all dead, and Wesker was the last one? Isn't that what the old guy said to him before Wesker killed him?
It said some were reported missing if you read a document during the Excella fight.

Wouldn't be the same. Since according to the old guy (and a few documents in the game if I remember) Wesker was by far the superior clone in every respect.
I had assumed it was hinting Wesker tracked them down and killed them.

They weren't really clones, just genetically enhanced children. The other Weskers probably wouldn't even look like him and they would have a different personality (maybe all of them were power hungry, but they weren't identical, Albert was probably the only one that was intelligent enough to actually succeed). Not to mention that they have different names too, they just share "Wesker", not all are called Albert Wesker (I'm not 100% sure of all of this of course, but I think).

Code Veronica looks almost worse than it did on the PS2. RE4 looks better, but not by a whole lot - I'll still get it cause I wanna play RE4 again.

oddly enough i just started a play through of RE4 on the gamecube
that will always be my favorite version of it, I don't really see the need to port it and make the textures a bit higher resolution

also beat darkside chronicles over the weekend, i fucking love that game.
So why is everyone so excited for ORC?
I mean isn't it made by the same guys that made a certain SOCOM game that was basically the BROTRR of tactical shooters?

And/Or accessability of a great game? I've played it and finished it multiple times on the PS2 and Gamecube but I want to be able to play it again so this was perfect.
Also, DC was surprisingly good. I would prefer a RE2 remake over than the abridged RE2 they had in DC.
Speaking of Wesker there is another surviving Wesker that is detailed in the notes in Lost in Nightmares DLC and was featured everywhere in the Gamecube Remake of a Wesker child who stole most of the data and some virals of the virus before getting the hell out of umbrella's hand.
We need to see Sherry again, they've had her locked up for years. Need to get a RE2 reunion going for the 'reboot' of the series.
I liked that DC had both RE2 and Code Veronica in it, easiest way to understand the story of the games

It's made by a company who made the shitty Socom multiplayer spin off.
I enjoyed SOCOM, but the gameplay video made ORR look fucking terrible..
I hope that is an alpha of an alpha, and that it's only like 5% complete.
The worst part about Operation Raccoon City is they made one of the operatives and 'apprentice' of HUNK. I swear to god if you desecrate one of my favorite characters there will be hell to pay.
Resident evil 1 2 and 3 for PSX and nothing else for me.
Then again, didn't try any others :smith: but somehow, it seems like only the PSX ones are scary.

the only problem are the ultra low res bitmaps for the hud and menus
im sure there is a mod for that
so the new guy is part o the "my blood is the cure" cliche.
meaning he will probably die in the end.
