Survival Crisis Z (Free Roaming Zombie Survival) - "Are you familiar with gypsy magic?"

I would play it if it was first person or a little better looking in terms of your perspective of the player, I hate these kind of perspectives, the game itself is awesome, I just can't focus with that.

I actually think the game looks pretty good except for the people and zombies because all the scenery has a nice realistic style and then you have cartoony looking characters.
As far as the perspective, first person would be cool but I think the isometric view works well for this type game also.
This game is amazing, Ska Studios new release The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is also excellent too.
Just spent like 20 minutes going through a "secret dungeon" eating up most of my ammo and medkits, having the shit scared of me on the part with ghost children and finally get to the end for just a flamethrower
Was not worth it
Flame-based weapons are a god-send when fighting hordes and the assholes in the later Acts.
Trying the game now.
Any co-op or multiplayer mods?

Ska Studios are working on Survival Crisis X, a remake of Z with multiplayer. So no, not right now.

That would be awesome but like someone said earlier, the devs lost the source code so no multiplayer was ever made for this game.
Only real mods you could easily get are graphics and sound mods.
I liked this game but those flying ghost faces scared me one time when I was drinking milk
yay it spilled everywhere

I don't know. Last news of it was from like 2 or 3 years ago and they've finished a couple games since then and are working on other stuff as well
do I have to go through the story intro every time I want to play? I can't skip it; if I press escape the game crashes to the desktop.
edit: I also keep getting run time errors when I try to open it, it seems to only work by chance
I wish there was more of a roleplay element. Arcade mode is really fun.

It will crash if you try to skip it but after you make your new profile and start the game it shouldn't ever show it again unless you make a new profile
This game is way better than it looks at first glance. Though most of the survivors you have to escort are fucking annoying. If you see me running away from the zombies, you follow me! You don't try to take down all 20 of them with a knife! :argh:
Some things I've found upon playing through a good portion of chapter 1 with all the classes.
-Commodity Running is lucrative as shit. Find a good set of 2/3 safehouses close to each other and play off their cheap points.
-Characters starting items, aside the salesman's free sentry are not worth considering the characters over, you find too many items too easily just building running.
-Continuing to run, rather than start stopping is far better, you eventually reach ungodly speeds.
-You will never find ammo for guns you don't have, ala Dead Space, so don't carry too many types.
The classes, in order of best to worst for a newcomer to play (an advanced player can make any class a god and probably will just pick for looks):
1. Doctor - Easy first choice. Regen effectively is a not-dying-machine for the early game, the revolver is an expensive piece with very good killing power, often one shotting zambeez.
Active abilities include one meh and one good, Adrenaline is awesome for running through crowds, but the heal seems a waste of a chem as they aren't the cheapest commodity, it doesn't heal companions, and the medic already regens. Overall the easiest to pick up and go.
2.Bartender - Powerful starter weapon, ability to heal self with the cheapest commodity (food), and molotovs. The handcannon doesn't start with much ammo, but this as with all short ammo weapons is rectified by the fact ammo is fucking EVERYWHERE, walk in a building and you will 90% of the time have some lootable object with 1-2 ammo caches.
Abilities include molotov, a 1 chem crowd clearer and healthy meal, an alternative to the medic's regen.
Definetly a solid starter.
3. Salesman - Good starter weapon, once again with the easily solvable ammo problem due to ammo always being for weapons you have. Abilities are average, storage is good for trading, but C4 Det leaves a lot to be desired early game, I guess it saves money later, but you'll never usually go C4 before Sentry.
The make or break of this character is the only one resting on an item, his free Sentry. No character starts out with the ability to make sentries, and as such, it's peanuts for this guy to find a neutral house with a takeover level of 4 or less and get an easy early free resting place, money and companion.
4. Hunter - Rifle is a slow starter, but he also gets the chainsaw, meaning no early game knife panics.
Abilities include the nice range increase, headshots, and ?armor? Eh, He's okay, but not the best.
5. Clerk - Ski mask is not something to sell a class on. And the pistol wouldn't be worth your time if it wasn't the only thing you had. Abilties include running, kind of pointless once you know about cumulative speed.
6. Hacker/Tech/Whatever - Dear god, the uselessness. Your gun spews short range peashooter ammo, and needs to be fed by building diving constantly. Your abilities are the most useless things. And to top it off, shitty item selection at start.
EDIT: This is of course assuming a Neutral start, the immediate ski mask can sometimes save your ass if you pick SWAT and spawn next to 12 rebels as I just did.
I remember this game. Perhaps I'll get back to playing it again later.
Are there any graphics mods for this? I heard it was really moddable.

The graphics are very easy to mod but unfortunately I can't actually seem to find some.

Maybe but I heard you can get a dirtbike as one of the rewards so that's what I'm going for
