Gonna be there on Saturday and Sunday like last year. So damn excited as it's also an annual meetup with my internet pals. Really looking forward to Dishonored and meeting the Unknown Worlds crew.

My college is taking us to eurogamer on the friday because we're doing a game design course :V But, I was just wondering form anyone that's been before, how strict are they on age-restricion on the "18" demos? Because being 17 sucks.

So many colleges going, if only I could've persuaded mine earlier. Oh well, any people going that we can meet up with? Just 2 people so far is kind of annoying haha.

Because being 17 sucks.[/QUOTE] If you don't look over 18 then you will be stopped and asked for ID. Even if you're 17 they won't allow you through. The bouncers will constantly stop and ask people for ID who look underage. Since they constantly re-ask for your ID I'm gonna half-ass this and speculate: A) The bouncers probably won't constantly remember faces or individuals since hundreds are constantly going in and out throughout all the day. B) They are just being as strict as possible and will still re-ask individuals they remember who look under 18 that they recently ID'd. (I had to show my ID every single time I wanted to enter over 10 times in a row in smallish intervals by the same exact bouncer). I went last year and they really are that strict. Also if you're over 18 but don't think you can get past because you don't have any ID then here's some simple fun advice (not condoning underage access of course): Wear some smart casual clothing but obviously nothing that dramatically singles you out. The older you look the better. There are two main entrances and every single other path into the area is guarded (so don't think about going through the sides). You can test your appearance and go through a low populated entrance. If you get stopped for ID then just simply turn back (they aren't going to do anything else if you simply walk away). Go to a higher populated entrance and from the side blend into the crowds going in. If you were denied before then it's very likely you will get denied here as well if caught. Extra points if all bouncers are busy checking ID's at the same time. If caught then simply turn back. Once you're in it's fair game. You won't be re-ID'd once inside the area. You can leave at anytime just by casually strolling out. Besides from the games in the 18 area there's also a nice eating area that overlooks the entirety of the event from a height. You should go there and admire the view whilst eating or relaxing.

Heading down with the people on my Games course tomorrow, have to be at college at 4:30am and then we're taking a coach down to London which'll take 5 hours, then we won't get back to college till 1am the next day. Totally worth it! :dance:
