Men of War should be $20, but I'm not sure. The game is awesome, best WW2 RTS I've ever played (but I'm one of those realism nuts, so I'm quite biased).

I did that 4 times? I thought I only said that twice. Whoops.
*Note to self:Stop making threads I only fail*
You know OP, they have a point you know. This thread was about the best $20 game, was it not? You're making it really hard for us when you do that.
BF2 Complete Pack
Maybe its time for you to get a PSP/DS/Xbox360 or something
Try Torchlight.
If there were any players, I'd suggest The Ship...
I recommend Red Orchestra, if like a game where you die a lot, there's no crosshair, no ammo counter (only how many clips/magazines you have), and kills account for only 1 point while taking objectives count for 10. It has good graphics for a 2006 game (even my parents' computer that has a shitty onboard graphics card can handle it) and the "ragdoll" physics engine (it's more like a realistic ragdoll, if you get blown up, you don't go flying through the air)is great. It has built-in VoIP and servers can go up to 64 players. Not as large-scale as Joint Operations; 128 people in a large-scale farmland battling tanks and other soldiers? RO needs a mod for that!
If you don't believe me, watch a gameplay video. Watch that in HD so you get a better image.
For under $20 I could recommend Psychonauts which costs only $7. Lots of gameplay, fresh and incredibly funny humour, very fun, easy difficulty curve... etc. I had so much.
I back this man's statement. It is a very fun game.
