For those of you who play support, how do you manage to get upwards of 20 assists in a game? I've seen some of the score screenshots in here that show that, and I am impressed. What champions do you use, and what tactics to you use? I tried Taric some, and got somewhere around 3/5/10, but want to do better. I have found that I can play tank characters pretty good (Singed and Sion), but I want to do more Support since I usually play with friends who are pretty good.
That's not as strange as a friend of mine. He once got 831 IP from his first ever game. I still have no clue why.

Oh my. Just noticed that Warwick is BEST for 1v1, so I'm gonna get him as quick as possible. Vaigar or Veigar will rack me some good kills since most of the kills/assists in a match were mine with Ve/aigar.

Support is my main role (and the most fun, imo). Janna and Taric are my favorites because they contribute the most to the overall team's damage output. For Taric my core items are Tear of the Goddess and Spirit Visage; from that point determine if you need to build tank (no tank on the team, or a shitty tank) or support. For tanking, go with Heart of Gold, Force of Nature, then Wardens. Don't build into Randuin's until you need the slot because HoG gives quite a bit of gold. For support, I go with either Nashor's/Manamune combo or AA, SS, and Aegis.
Summoner spells Clarity and Ghost/Flash
Runes are up to your personal play style, and I use 9/0/21 masteries, but 0/9/21 is also viable.
As I said some time ago, Shen is cursed.
This time we had a second time Eve who kept feeding Xin instead of playing more carefully.

Just had one of the most entertaining matches in my LoL history.
We were playing a normal game, game was a tie, then after a while (Like 3.5 minutes after Sivir went afk) we notice that Sivir was afk.
Oh well, I get a bit pissed but I noticed that we keep winning our teamfights. We win and win every single teamfight, until Mundo, Olaf and Karthus get extremely fed.
At the end our Olaf went in 1v5 while I healed him @ Baron and he managed to kill 3 and escape with like 25-30% HP. Shit was cash.
Then after like 20 minutes our Sivir reconnects saying her comp crashed.
20 minutes after that we won.
Soraka is so much win. *-*
Goddammit.
Akali DC's immediately, I mid against a Critzplank, which already is annoying, then our malphite goes solo against Taric and Morg. Surprisingly, he gets a first blood and goes all the way to 5 kills before he gets taken out. Impressive against duo stun/snare.
BOTTOM, though. Bottom was Ashe and someone else, and they both got demolished. A lot. Which is annoying.
So now everyone on their team is super fed, I've got 2/0/2, and then Akali reconnects. We're all level 10, she's level 1. Does she hug the tower and try to leech XP from the rest of us?
of course not. She's rambo.
You can imagine how the rest of the game worked out. She ended up 0/11/0.
Scrub team won't get wards, blitz rages and leaves because we are "KSing" him.
Don't fucking play blitz if you don't want assists, cunt
