I don't think so, I'm pretty sure Soraka is just as useful as those two, it just depends on the situation. Whenever I play another support I keep thinking If I would have been playing Soraka I could have done this differently and better. Also, Infuse. That's the most unique and most useful spell in the goddamn game.
Also, Soraka is sexy and fun to play with.

Hey everyone, so what's the common perception of Akali. I started playing her, and I'm really enjoying her. She has better burst (IMO), then LeBlanc and is pretty unique. So... what does the community think of her?

I agree, it's annoying. Also, I do waay better with Soraka than with Taric.
Taric is stun, heal for like 170-200 and that's it.. :|
Soraka is, HEAL, 80 armor, aoe heal, silence an enemy, heal again, win.
Janna is good too, but I don't really know how to play her. I dislike that I can't constantly keep allies in the lane as Soraka can. :/

I think that she's a SUPER ANTI CARRY when fed and pretty much nukes every squishy if when.
When not fed she's still decent, unless enemy team has a lot of CC.

Janna has an ulti that ensures you're not in a team fight situation that you don't want to be in.
