got 3 pds, inf edge, merc treads, crit every shot destroyed their whole team
enemy mf got manamune. she did no damage. bad item

Manamune isn't bad. But it is bad on MF and most other champs.

Instalocking in normal at level 30 is fine since by then wins don't really matter

Well, most champs have ~1000 mana by level 18, so a maxed manamune will give you ~60 dmg which is pretty good considering its price. If you have a physical champ with a lot of spammable abilities, then you can't go wrong with manamune.

Yeah but in a normal game I don't want my pick to make a good team comp only to have our carry lose middle lane, feed, bottom lane loses their lane and feeds... and I don't have any fun because I try to make it work.
In normals all I do now is troll and have fun.

because id rather get bf sword. gets me more fed and more CS than manamune, and endgame that money you would have wasted on manamune can be put to a PD, which is much better in the long run

Nowadays, I only use Manamune on champions who I don't know how to last hit with through simple last hits.
So basically I only get Manamune on Ezreal because I hate his auto attack.
Corki and MF, rush Bloodthirster for me.
But it's still a good starter, don't hate.
As long as you break 1850 mana, you've made up the cost.

I guess its because of how obsolete glass cannons continue to be, triforce gives a good mix of stats and thats became the best way to build a character IMO, mixing stats so scaling goes smoothly.

I'm going off what I do in normal. Even when I instalock I rarely go negative.
Again, it doesn't matter if you instalock or not if you can't play for shit.
With Xin I am now maxing E first, and it's working wonders. No wonder I always did badly with him before.
