ye i do that too, but one of my friends uninstalled the game right after our school break, another goes on at really odd times, another doesn't play LoL much except weekends, another is in China (so he goes on late), one of my friends is really bad and the other is an asshole sometimes.
I try to do that, but I still get many times where I want to play, but no one is on.

I like it because it builds into Manamune, which makes my build flexible, i.e., I can build either dps by building Manamune and Nashor's or tank and still have Tear for mana upkeep. I bring Clarity as a summoner spell, so it's a better choice for me than Chalice. Depends how you play him, really.

I recently discovered this was true.
I hopped into a duo-queue last night and through champ select my friend was bitching that we queue'd without him w/e fuckign cocks lolol
So I'm looking through our team feeling good. My buddy picked corki and a random picked Winna (aka Janna), so no smite, no tank. Go for jungle rammus.
Look again. Jax with fortify + revive, ww no smite. I go "wtf jax revive + fortify? WW no smite?" and then QQ switch to teemo heal + revive and tell my friend what the fuck is this I'm going teemo."
Their team comp is Sion + Singed + Malz + Ashe + Alistar.
So it's Corki + Teemo + Janna + Jax + WW. We have jungle advantage no doubt.
Top loses the lane, I feed bottom because stun + throwback + slow + shield pop = dead teemo. Mid breaks even on ganks. My build didn't work out.
Doran's ring, boots, ring, Boots of Mobility, sell rings start on zeals. I started my movespeed to hit priority targets and get the fuck out of there since everyone had a hard on for me. I pushed, popped W hit another lane rinse repeat. In team fights I dropped poison everywhere.
I finished my build with Boots, 2x Zeal, Void staff and 3k gold because we aced the shit out of them and there was no time for teemo who was constantly pushing to shop.

Yup, I think they gave up real early. Their Kayle decided to mid over their Ashe. Ashe and Eve ended up laning against me and Kat, but their Eve was terrible and they got zoned for the entire laning phase. (By terrible, I mean I didn't even have to buy wards or oracles.) And watching Kayle against Ryze was just sad.
Didn't notice their Ashe got Nashor's though, lol wut
Funnily enough, their Soraka was almost on my team--auto-locked Soraka after I picked Taric and then someone queue-dodged. :P

Kayle isn't even good in ARAM...
Second to last normal game I played before hitting level 30, it was me as Tryn, a friend as Rammus, Shen jungling, and a Kayle and Nunu(AP). Kayle wanted to lane and make me go mid, but after almost killing Kassadin 2 times and then dying to him 3, we ended up switching. Kassadin got overall fed by everyone, and we ended up losing. The entire time Shen was trying to tell us how to play.

Morde is bad. Win Zhao plays like Tryn/Master Yi except you never die because you're fucking xin zhao.
Anyone in NA servers want to be my friend on here? My IGN is "xDebauchery". I'm not the best player ever, but I do good enough to hold my own when I play with my friends who are levels 20-30 (I'm level 11). I just want more people to play with while they aren't online.

On topic, I haven't quite found my level yet, because I haven't played for long enough (Started a little over a week ago). I usually carry my team when I solo queue because I'm better than level 11.
Easy way to win + improve your game:
1. Watch Guardsman bob
2. Watch Dan Dinh
3. Learn to last hit better (high cs = more items = more kills)
4. Think over games after analyzing why you won/lost (a simple "baddy feeder made me lose" is not sufficient)

I agree, but it's a little hard to have faith in my teammates after having literally countless trolls, feeders and leavers.
I still get many games that will have 1 or 2 people messing up a lane and bulking up the other team.
It's the games that have considerably less fail, but we still end up losing that gets to me and makes me question my own skill.
I'm fucking 1/5 right now as Xin because Shen refuses to taunt or ultie every time Singe tosses me to Yi.
