You don't have to get FoN every game, it isn't that important. Merc treads are okay if you really don't want to be CC'd and BV is amazing because of its stats and spell shield. Also, lolwut boots of mobility?
His core items are RoA and upgraded boots, that is it.
Why can't they make a Shen/Mundo/Singed free week? EVERYBODY instalocks DPS squishies and I am the only one left to tank.
And the can't even fucking play them.

I wouldn't know, I'm not a Singed player. Also of the three Singed games on Dyrus' match history, he has RoA on only one.

Free Blitz week is both a blessing and a curse.
ergh, I still think Karthus is the most overpowered champ in the game.
You don't need to build survivability, because once you die you can channel your ult with no interruptions

I think that Karthus is one of the most balanced champions actually. Sure, he is piss easy to play but you still need survivability. It's not about running at them, getting killed and finishing them afterwards.
You get survivability with Karthus, flash into enemies, aoe, die, aoe, ult. WIN.
Haven't played karthus for ages, could try him for the next few games. Saving up IP for caitlyn.

Anyone else feel like physical DPS can get the short end of the stick sometimes? AP characters get survivability built into several items (Rod of Ages, Rylai's, Hourglass, Abyssal Scepter) while DPS needs to sacrifice slots for stuff like Banshee's Veil.

To build a Thornmail on Yi for example and I have 5 slots filled, I have to sacrifice my boots so I can build it.

Please don't drop IP on caitlyn. You WILL regret it. Her scaling and base stats still aren't enough for her to compete with other ranged carries.

No champion EVER benefits from a hybrid build.
AP Ez is a miserable shit storm of bad.
AD Ez is viable but barely.

if you're going for a 6.3k ranged carry, get MF. even after all the nerfs she is still pretty good, and her R actually does something. plus she's pisseasy to last hit and farm with, last game with her I could instantly buy a bloodthirster on my first trip back after something like 15 or 20 minutes.
but I wanna talk a little more about FotM kassadin. how are you guys building him?
I'm going 9/21/0 with strength of spirit, flash and teleport. sometimes I've been wishing for a cleanse instead of TP, because stuns are the only thing that can kill you, but your early game is weak and if both you and the enemy are harrassing agressively, you will run out of pots/mana eventually, so I love the TP for an early buy and regen without missing much exp.
start with mana crystal +2 hp pots
build into catalyst ASAP to help you stay in lane
boots (still undecided if cdr or spell pen?)
build a tear into archangels
large rod into deathcap
lategame, when you've got your mileage out of your catalyst, turn your catalyst into a banshees
haven't gotten much further than that. wanted to experiment with a lichbane but never got around to it.
abyssal scepter and hourglass are options too I guess.
skillwise I go QEQEQR or QEQEER and then R>E>Q>W with the first rank of W after laning phase or between levels 10 and 12. you don't need it much sooner than that, I'd rather have better harass with Q or better farm with E.
