Adding courage bumps it up to:

[b]138/238 = 57%[/b] damage reduction to AD attacks
[b]78/178 = 43%[/b] damage reduction to AP attacks
If I activate courage the values get bumped up to

[b]73%[/b] damage reduction to AP attacks
yeah destroyed in 2-5 seconds totally

You forget that you're building TANK GAREN DERP
Personally I believe Doran's Shield gives way more lane staying power to people ( like solo mid ) who know they will be laning against a common harasser ( like Teemo v.s. Pants )

Doran's Blade gets the job done for me when I play Ashe. It lets me lane until 2.2k when I go back and get a free BF sword.
I never get any doran's items...I find them useless.
Depending on my enemies, for a caster i'll get a sapphire or a book, for dps a longsword or boots.
Also, solo 3v3 queue.

His endless rage is annoying, but he isn't too hard to kill.
Also once you get to know him, it's really easy to predict when he is going to use Mocking Shout.
Most Tryndamere players use Spinning Slash and then Mocking Shout, so once he finishes Spinning Slash, face Tryndamere so he doesn't slow you and keep running.

Then you aren't playing to your full potential early game. Maybe the current standing you're in doesn't rely much on the laning phase, but if you watch any high ELO game, you can see that dorans items are a must. It's not true for all champs, there are some that are so mana reliant that they are required to get a meki, but there are lots of champs who's early game relies on the items with the best g/stat ratio in the game.

Judgement's bonus damage from AD can crit
If you have 200 bonus AD and 100% crit with an IE you will do 2160 damage with a full Judgement
It's only good if you're insanely fed and you want to roflstomp
Hmm... I'll consider that. I ruled out crits because at times its not worth getting a crit. Compared to just getting damage.

i start with mana crystal thing, 2 health pots and Q, last hit and harass a bit, start harassing more as i get my W and Q leveled up, get E at around level 5, etc. etc.
i build RoA or boots first after getting catalyst then go for archangel's and then zhonya's hourglass or rabadon's death cap depending on what the enemy team is like and what my team is like
sometimes i go for a rylai's or something with a lot of mana gain for the archangel's
but i just can't survive anything, im constantly being killed and i can barely do any damage late-game
um sorry guys IM the best urgot on facepunch
