Pressure is sooooo important early game but some people just do not notice nor care

Singed is really squishy early game and has serious mana problems. The most he can do is to gas friendly minions to keep the enemy melee champs away from them.
I'm talking about the people who sit behind the minions and in the bush for 10 minutes while I get completely shut down in the lane

Had a strange game today where I laned as Pantheon against an Ashe and a Zilean. Zilean ulted the Ashe but I killed her anyway without her coming back to life. And later on 2 of my stuns failed to do anything - but no one had cleanse. Even the other team wondered why I did the W animation but they didn't get stunned. Anyone else experience something similar recently?

Pressure and zoning don't even exist to some people.
Reason why Morde was so strong pre-nerf was because he had a huge area of influence. If you got too close he'll smack you this his AoE, and even if you go in when it's down he'll have his shield up. That's why he was able to dominate 1v2 lanes.
Same with pre-nerf Xin/Garen/Panth. If you got too close to the bush then you were just going to die outright. Thus their areas of influence was like 75% of the lane, which just shuts you down if you're playing melee.
Singed's area of influence is directly around him, and wherever he leaves his poison trail. Normally it would be a great laning tool, but if you run oom in 5 seconds because you don't have any mana and you just sit in the bush/under the turret all day you're just wasting it.

Of course it was partly due to the fact we had no ranged in our lane, but Ren's and Teemo's areas of influence are really small early game.
