Akali still does fine with Gunblade and Rylais
Seeing as Mejais only really kicks in at 10+ stacks and most Akalis don't get that far even if they're doing good, she isn't really dependent on snowballing at all

When high ranked players are queing and see Westrice is also in champ select, they ban Akali.
Just like how fed Panth players get Occult when they don't even really need it
It's just nice to have so you can kick them while they're down

At least one funny thing came out of that horrible game.
When I reconnected I had enough gold to buy Mercs. However both Mercs and Tabi turned into Chainmails, and they didn't show up under the store's Movement tab, so I just sat at pool for a minute trying to remember which one was which on the tree for t1 boots.
Guess I was wrong.
