It just seems to me she tries to be something she's not. Ult stuns + damage, has a potentially continuous slow. Its like she wants to be a ganker, but has absolutely fuck-all damage abilities. I'm not saying she isn't good in team fights, because she is amazing in that respect. But when she mids, she is an absolute joke, even though people always send her there anyway.
Ashe does a ton of damage.

In the most generous sense you have a point
Ashe can go without mid as other carries can't because she has that little passive that helps farming early just a little and making every free farm wave late game into a whole lot of money. But Ashe bad?

How exactly is her passive an aid in farming? You need to stop attacking for the crit chance to increase. I'll admit it has its uses, but I don't really see it as a farming aid.
