They better show gameplay at gamescom today.
From the looks, it's going to be like a mix of Gears/Mass Effect and something like Global agenda, just from the snipet they showed during the Trailer. Which isn't bad mind, it looks great.
Gamescom doesn't end today though.
Now that's where you're wrong. Most everything takes place in the 41st. Not all mind you, some of it takes place before like the books but the majority takes place in the 41st. A prime example is the games. All the games are during the 41st, including most of Tabletop.
Give me one thing that doesn't take place in the 41st, by all means
Give me one thing that doesn't take place in the 41st, by all means
You just more or less agreed with me. This entire time you've been saying everything takes place during the 40th.

BECAUSE IT DOES. I have proof, you don't. Congratulations. If the Warhammer 40k story advanced to the year 41,000 then it would no longer be in the forty first fucking millenium. And the Golden Throne is supposedly failing, so if time skipped ahead magically a few hundred years, then Gamesworkshop would have to advance the story.
Like they'd ever do that
But seriously come up with some actual proof and you'll just be a mentally retarded 13 year old instead of a lobotomized 13 year old

Well aren't you just a right fucking cockbag.
Allow me to post timelines from a Warhammer 40,000 database, the Lexicanum.
Here is the 40th millennium. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/M40 Not very eventful, huh?
Here is the 41st. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/M41 Sooo much stuff. This is also when the games take place, including Tabletop. In the later years of this millennium is when the Throne starts to fail.
Here is the 42nd. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/M42 Not much yet, but give it time.
If you'd learn to read as you keep saying, you'd be able to read descriptions on the games.
Another point of proof - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_40,000
The Warhammer 40,000 game takes place in a highly-dystopic, science-fantasy universe.[2] Set in the 41st millennium, most of the major storylines that provide the backdrop and history span over millennia.
I've given more than enough proof. Let's see if you can give any decent proof of your own. If not, get out, because no one wants your smug ass here.
That's all I was asking for you tit. Why did you bold 41st millennium? It means the years 40000 through 49999
A millennium (pl. -ni⋅ums, -ni⋅a) is a period of time equal to one thousand years
Really?
Also, you said you had proof and i didn't. Since you have proof, let's see it huh.
Woops one to many nines. Meant 40999. It works like centuries. We're in the 21st even though our years are 20xx

And I guess the lore has gone to the 42nd. This was a learning experience. Sorry
But the fact is that you sat there not posting anything about it with your thumb up your ass for a full page

Wait what? That didn't make much sense. Are you talking about the fact that i didn't say the lore had moved on?

Yes, I am. That's why I got so pissed off. You said it moved (or wanted it to move) on but didn't post anything to back it up, I assumed you were pulling shit out of your ass. And the lore isn't that far into the 42nd millennium from the looks of it, but GW isn't going to kill of the Emperor anytime soon methinks

I don't think so either, but i did say in one of my previous posts that i wondered if it was going to be in the 41st or 42nd. I assumed a lot of people would go "What the fuck?" and look it up but one shouldn't assume, i suppose.
:byodood:
yes.
Uh yeah, stop arguing and how about some contet?

They talk about the MMO, Space marine, DOW3 and others.
Appreantly being a Space Marine is going to be "special"
This is going to have gears of war style combat.
Im fucking amped.

No. They have a saying about cover combat. Cover is for pussies, you have god damn power armor.
This both applies to the MMO and the Space Marine game.
they don't want to make a Gears of War MMO, or a WoW clone, though the part where they say that if you played wow, you can play it.
That's the main problem with MMOs it's trying to get the audience from wow, and clones it, rather than coming up with original ideas.
I just suggest watching this:

And reading this:
http://www.newbiesinc.com/2010/07/01/warhammer-mmo-a-masterpiece/
These are old, but some people might don't know certain things.
I mean it has over the shoulder style third person combat.
No. They have a saying about cover combat. Cover is for pussies, you have god damn power armor
Doesn't really look like it at times when a simple orc sword or dagger has the power to break through the armor.
Also Tyranids :q:

Space Marines can die too. Cover is a big part of any battlefield.

but not from 5 shots, and having red jelly on their face :downs:
That interview really worried me when he talked about encountering the other core chapters
Meaning we can only play as Black Templars? Even then, they're not even first foudning
[editline]01:09PM[/editline]
Also Dawn of War 3? Really? THQ seriously stop making these, 2 sucked balls
Personally I preferred DoW 1 than 2 too.
They said that DoW1 and 2 would meet half way so we get a mix of the massive battles and the tacticalness so it might be good. I, for one, loved 2. Much preferred 1 but 2 was good.

No, not just Black Templars.
I've read something about that some time ago, doesn't have the source though.
We will start out as a chapter, that nearly looks like them but was only designed for this game, and will probably able to customize it later.
The starting chapter will have dark grey Power armors, with white shoulders. I can't remember their chapter sign and stuff though.
The new trailer: The Imperium of Man, released at GamesCom.

Oh shit that looked awesome!
Also this means playable Imperial guard, and techpriests, and space marines!
Did I see a Spacemarine scout by the way? Why do I fell that it's going to be a class tree like
Also playable comissars? :3:
Now I want to know how will you be able to be a space marine.
Sexy. Any other interviews or anything come out of gamescon yet?
But there's still no OTHER GOD DAMN OTHER CHAPTERS
And camper if you don't have a source I really wouldn't call that reliable information. And if you find the source, if it's an old one then it's still not that reliable
