Just after Episode 3 release.
I want those elf guys, whatever their names are.
Oh yeah, Eldar.
They'd be funny.

Space Marines aren't the only ones who have titans.
Also, vehicles will have driver, gunner, etc seats. The fun the fun!
Damn this game is looking awesome. I don't want to wait 2 more years.
i want a subscription free warhammer mmo.

It wouldn't be very good then.
I'm not going to like it if there are lots of 10 year olds who have no idea what they are doing. I hope they make bolters work correctly aswell.
Can't wait to see some gameplay though.

Guild Wars doesn't have any subscription fees, and it is still one the best mmos around. I'm hoping that they will try to pull it off like that.

Never tried Guildwars, but what i meant by "wont be very good" is that there wouldn't be many expansions/new content.
WoW, Everquest 2 Etc gets expansions/content all the time.

That's true.
After watching the Trailer this actually looks like a good mmo.I haven't been able to get into another mmo since i played wow. Would it be possible to play as a necron?
Would it be possible to play as a necron?
No, at the moment there's no evidence to them even being in the game at all.

Is there a list of what is already known that you can play?
The only confirmed faction is Imperium of Man, which looks like Space Marines, Imperial Guard and perhaps other Imperial agents/mechanicus judging from the trailer.
The other obvious ones are Chaos and Orks, apparently Eldar are going to be in but they haven't said much about them.
The ones I would want are definitely Necrons and Tau... Incredibly badass races.

If Necrons are not added to it i will most likely play as a Eldar. Hopefully they will add more.
They're probably going to do a dawn of war and start adding in other races after release.
Makes more sense than DoW, at least it's par for MMOs to release lots of expansions with new races and areas and stuff.

That makes sense. I just recently really got into Warhammer 40k. All of it just so bad ass.
I don't see how Necrons would work, there is no/very little individuality.
Same with Tyranids, and in a way Tau.
By this i mean for a basic Soldier, not the commanders and things.
I can see them having trouble with Tyranids gameplay wise but Necrons and Tau would work fine gameplay wise.
I do agree about the individuality.. I'm a fiend for character customization, and it can make or break an MMO for me. On the other hand, INVINCIBLE ROBOT/UNDEAD WARMONGERS FROM SPACE
I need a rag to clean the jizz out of my pants... thanks op.

How would necrons work? Unless you are a lord or some sort of Elite troop they are all the same.
A Tau firewarrior might not work too well because of them being near identical aswell - obviously some small changes but nothing big.
Only way i can see it working is if you start as a basic troop then work your way up.
If you stick to fluff (and I hope to god they do) then playing a Tyranid or Necron would make absolutely no sense unless they added in a whole lot of bullshit. I don't see why Tau wouldn't work though.
