I was told that Clear Sky, compared to CoP and SoC, is pretty bad. Should I avoid getting it? I'm not really focused on the story (however, that doesn't mean I'm ignoring it) and I'm mainly trying to have fun playing it. So, should I get Clear Sky? Or avoid it?
I am a little new here. I have all 3 Stalkers. What mod should i get for each stalker to make each one the best as it can be. Also what game should i start out on?

Story wise it goes: Clear Sky > Shadow of Chernobyl > Call of Pripyat CS isn't really that important, CoP is a direct sequel to SoC.
Oh, Alright ill just play ShoC then CoP.
Don't go skipping out CS though, it's still great.
Oh, cardan. Right... [editline]03:34PM[/editline] But i gave the calibration tools to the guy in yanov! [editline]03:38PM[/editline] I got the set from the dept. store basement. Where's the other set?
In another small building in Pripyat.
What location?
... GWC building?
Yep, that's that old service center South of the Monolith HQ in the university/hotel.
You need to give ALL the kits to cardan so he can do the exo upgrades.
Wrong, to fully upgrade an exoskeleton you need to also do all the scientist side quests so their mechanic can upgrade your exoskeleton even more, so you can finally sprint in it and another one that gives you even more protection from radiation and probably something else which I can't seem to remember right now.
Alright, gotcha. But i'm stuck on a scientist side quest. It says to scan the area with an "improved detector." Where do i get this "improved detector"?
isn't that where you place small detectors inside anomalies?
God dammit

"Upon receiving a Calibration Kit he becomes the only technician capable of fully upgrading an Exoskeleton's motors, allowing a user to sprint like a regular stalker." Bought COP a few months back, i loved that atmosphere and gameplay, had to stop like 1/2 way trough because i had to reformat :saddowns:.
If you don't kill them all with a knife you are a pussy. That includes the monolith.
If you use the crosshairs you're a pussy :smug:
I regularly don't. I don't know why the HUD is enabled.
Whowever thinks this game is too hard is a wuss
It's piss easy.
Hey guys, playing CoP but all my scopes get a nasty line down the side, like the texture overlay for the scope is aligned off one pixel, and I can see through it. How can I fix this?

I had that too, live with it. Happens in loading screens, when going into screen-distorting anomalies and whenever. It can't be seen in screenshots either.

What's the name of that mod that someone's making for CoP that's combining all 3 game maps?
What's the name of that mod that someone's making for CoP that's combining all 3 game maps?
"Real Zone" supposedly. But how the hell is that gonna work out?
