[sp]When you're looking for the docs, there's a room that you can hear crying coming from[/sp] I don't know why but i reacted at that moment the same way I did with the lion. Their getting good at this scare stuff :saddowns:

Hey Thorny, is it okay to modify guns now in Redux beta? That's something I forgot since I was busy with Clear Sky, so I'd like to know if it breaks anything or not.
Been playing clear sky again. I am up in army warehouses now. Did anyone else notice that strelok in clear sky has the voice of one of the generic stalkers?

[sp]yeah, I also got the crying, but when I killed the Burer causing it, I could swear I could hear another one somewhere else in the facility. I could hear it running around and grunting, and I think it even managed to toss shit at me (I know it was the Burer because I had already killed the Poltergeist). also, how many documents are in X8? I've managed to find 4 but I don't know if that's it. and I've NEVER faced any mutants (Bloodsucker or otherwise) on my way out.[/sp]
Damn.. all this got me wanting to play CoP again.. Guess I'll drag my ass to those damn choppers so I can get to pripyat.

There really needs to be a faction mod for CoP, would it really be that hard for good modders if the engine is similar to CS?
I'm tired of all these neutral morons, there's no competitivity or feeling of danger for me..

Pretty sure Thorny is adding Renegades (Bassically bandeets, but always hostile) in Redux 1.0.

you can just shoot a random neutral bandit for no reason and they'll all hate you. I shot a dying bandit I randomly found in the head and then every bandit in Zaton was out for my hide. even Sultan wouldn't talk to me.
I haven't made it so that the bandits in Jupiter hate me, though. guess they weren't in cahoots with Sultan.

I for the life of me can't find the [sp]crying baby[/sp] part in x8. I've been through every room i could possibly get to. unless i'm missing something.

Did you got all 6 documents? Did you found that one section with a bunch of scattered tables, a radiation pocket and a block shaped wall made out of glass that seems to look towards some test chamber?
Nevermind, i found more rooms. Have to use the ladders in the elevator shafts :argh:
