The Zone has obviously condemned LURK. :tinfoil:
I think I'm going to continue this story
You should, you are our unofficial stalker lore man.
i made a story too but it's a bit too long to post here
also i don't like posting my writing here because i don't trust people not to fuck with it
Well, as long as a stalker fiction makes sense and fits to the events, it's a good fiction.
However, there is a little critique I have. As far as I know, the Space Bubble only takes you in an "alternate dimension," which means that you're just sort of floating in the middle of nowhere, with objects that are at an altitude capable of giving a signal to that other dimension are the only things visible to the people that are stuck inside it. As you have no way down and since Space Bubble operates at a certain location(entrance and exit only), you'll slowly die because you have no more things to eat. But that's the worst case scenario, the best case is that the Space Bubble "teleports" you to another location, like it does in Red Forest during CS or in Zaton when you have to find Stingray-3.

I don't get the "Lift the elbow" part, can somebody explain?
Going back to that X19 bit on the last page, in Red Forest the big underground tunnel thing where you get the code to the door, presumably that was the entrance to X19? I wish they'd left it in, the entrance looks so damn interesting, and when I finally found the code and opened the door to find 3 medkits and nothing else, I was a little dissappointed.

Sometimes Ganja tends to say "If you ever wanna lift the elbow, drop by." to Scar when he goes to Freedom's base in Dark Valley.
"Want some good ol' medicine?"
"You're a touch pale, buddy. How about a little injection or two?"

Yeah that shit was a major anti-climax.
Overall once I got to red forest/Pripyat/Chernobyl I was always expecting some fucking sick loot to grab but never got anything too exciting. From what all the stalkers were saying I thought there would be fields of unique artifacts to score but in reality I probably found more artifacts in the garbage and agroprom than I did in Pripyat and Chernobyl.

Did you really expected a rumor about a place that nobody hasn't reached for several years to be true? Seriously, I got what I expected, a clusterfuck of Monolith troops and secrets of the Zone's creation.
Oh yes, I got the real ending in SoC.
Nice reference to the Stalker movie in the end :3
I got that one too, but later on during freeplay on a modded save I went up to the Monolith just to check the place out. Holy fuck. I was absolutely fucking floored by how accurately they modelled the inside of the sarcophagus... having looked at photos and CAD models and shit of the real thing, it's almost spot on.
Can any of you recommend good mod combinations for SoC and CS?

I guess Call of Pripyat is famous for it's calibration tools and general calibrations.
I'm expecting Garrus to show up in STALKER 2 due to so much calibrations.

Get CS Enhanced for Clear Sky, I really recommend it.

Want to get started with modding for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, but don't know how? Let me guide you through the basic steps to creating your very first mod.
Thanks, Thorny, I always tought you had to work magic to extract the content from the gamedata files to your PC.
Glad I could help :)
... woah woah woah, did I just saw dialouge files for Clear Sky? :raise:
Probably, yeah - CoP was built on top of CS.
Yeah it still has skins for scar ETC in it too.
Hmmm, I always tought that there was Clear Sky's blood in Call of Pripyat. I wonder how much it will take to re-enable some files from CS.

tbh I used that exact line a couple of times to find the calibration tools in pripyat.

Well not really. Since google bases it's suggestions and results in past searchs, if you've searched a lot about Stalker and acessed any google site from a stalker site, it's quite a large probability google has put those results in the top because of your records.
I just found the body of a stalker, killed by a blowout.
His name? Seva Sheep herder.
:v:
I think GSC should hire some Americans to determine if the translated names suck ass or not, so they can change them. But then we would loose cool dudes like Seva Pimp and Dimuha Ninja.
