AMK is awesome. I'm actually scared again, just like with lurk. I was in Agroprom, having stolen the docs I was looking out a window trying to shoot any soldiers on the ground when i turned around a solider had creeped up on me. When I saw him i screamed out loud and he shot me to death. Awesome.
I hate Clear Sky's apprehension of Difficulty, if I'm playing on master I'd expect less humans, more in quantity and quality of mutants. And dynamic anomalies and deadlier weapons. Not some magical railgun accuracy rookie bandits that practically nade nukes you from inside a bunker, because that ventilation hole just happened to be conviently open.
I liked Clear Sky more than SoC.

Clear Sky with mods is really fun. I definitely recommend it. At least to meet all the funny characters and nice music.
A bad thing about Clear Sky is the plot. It's a "Catch dat Strelok!" story which makes the game really bad mostly because most of the time you're just running around trying to catch red blips on each map progressivly. Seriously, you could finish Clear Sky in at least three days because it's that simple. The reason why SoC hangs on forever is because you always have to get superior equipment for the next story mission, and that requires a load of cash.
But I like the chill atmosphere, well the plot was okay. It's more about faction and free play.
The ending sucked big time though.
I hate how happy and [I]clear[/I] Clear Sky is. I love the gloomy and scary atmosphere of ShoC.

Which kind of destroys the "dark" in "Dark Valley", more like "Smoke-filled Valley" due to Freedom being in there.
But they're cool guys anyways, if I would be in the zone during the events of Clear Sky, I would definetly join Freedom.

I enjoyed the swamps level and the cordon was quite a cool place to go to minus evil military checkpoint.
i'm playing through clear sky properly for the first time, and boy it has some stuff that I really miss that's not in CoP... in some ways, CoP is the most disappointing Stalker yet, and in others it's the best...

Swamps are actually pretty cool though it lacks some bloodsuckers.
I doubt that there would be a lot of mutants in a place that is entirely secured by Clear Sky. I would understand if they would be there during the time of CoP or SoC, mostly because in SoC they mention bloodsuckers that are near the border of the Zone.

I'm not saying SoC is terrible I just prefer CS more purely for its gameplay.
CoP still remains the best imo.
Clear Sky made me love Freedom. And it was my first STALKER game.
Freedom is awesome in CS, they're dumb in SoC and in CoP they're like a bit less advanced ecologists that smoke weed.

I liked all STALKERs, but my favorite is CoP and my least favorite is Clear Sky.
CoP gameplay and story are amazing (story on ShoC is better though) but the ending... man... The ending is awesome. So many unfinished stories... I hope thay continue it on STALKER 2!
Clear Sky is fun, but it's more linear and the story... well... it's "Go here. Too late he left. Go there. Your late again. OH SHIT GO AFTER STRE-, Too late." I just wish there were better mods (like OL, SMP, you know, mods that add alot of stuff ). But otherwise it's a pretty damn good game.
ShoC... Gameplay isn't as good has the other 2 but the story and atmosphere are unique. I will never forget the first time I ventured into the zone...
Oh, 2 questions, Are there any mods that add the TARK in ShoC? And like I said before, any good mods for CS that add stuff? (No SPARTAN, AKA FRUSTRATION-HARDCORE AND OVERPOWERD-RANDOM SHIT MOD and no SMRTER... That shit is broken... same for the CoP mod!)

They don't really kick ass in SoC, even if you do tell them about Skull they'll still probably die if you don't help them out. In CoP they only kill if they have their reasons.
Also, does anyone think STALKER 2 should have save import from CoP like Mass Effect 2 does with ME1?
I really liked the more detailed maps in CS.

In SoC they're pretty neutral. In CS, yes, they are awesome. And in CoP they were pretty neutral too.
