If you're using Fraps, you can turn off the FPS counter in screenshots. I keep it that way.

(its ugly, unfinished, etc) Redux is hard (no problem here, just saying) and Reloaded is basically just a graphics mod. I expect that Redux 1.0 will be more or less what I'd be looking for.

The only thing I would see getting for a first time play is a free roam after-completion mod
