Well I've already completed SoC at least 10 times, without speed running and have played around countless times with different mods. Speedrunning is just another way for myself to prove I'm a better stalker than the rest of you.

I have God of Zone. If I go to the weapons tab it crashes.
I think that Marked One is like a prophet of the Zone and that Scar is a Demigod of the Zone. Lebedev is the [sp]father[/sp] of the Zone and Charon(probably Scar) is the God of the Zone since he is [sp]leader of the Monolith[/sp]. Degtaryev is probably a son of the Zone if getting the "Marked by the Zone" achievment counts as canon to the plot.
Man this sounds so weird...

Besides, we all know Kruglov is the god of the zone.

Having trouble getting to the stash in the earth mover at Yanov's quarry. I've gotten up to the third floor, but I am stumped as to where to go next. Would like some advice.

It was awesome.. I was in the Garbage LURKing around, picking up artifacts, and on one of the junk piles I see a stone flower, so I start throwing bolts around making sure there are no anomalies. Out of nowhere (seriously, they didnt make a sound) three pseudodogs jumped at me and fucked me up. I had my 4x scope on my gun so I had to pull out my shotgun which took a few seconds.. and I managed to kill 2 of them when the last one bit my ass to death. It all happened in about 5 seconds..
But I have a problem with LURK: It's always CLOUDY. Seriously, its like 2 in the afternoon and it's as dark as 8'oclock at night.

Wow, I just got killed by a flyby. Traveling through Wild Territory with some seriously rare artifacts for Sakharov (two springs, a battery, a Mama's Beads, and a Mica) And I pass into what I guess is the trigger for a flyby cutscene showing Kruglov Vs. Wolfhound. Only problem is Kruglov died the first time through to Yantar because his AI went into super retard mode. So while I was treated to two mercs versus a single stalker, a bloodsucker chowed down on me.
How do I get to the stash on the earth mover?! It's driving me crazy!!!

By the way, anyone find the Clear Sky Blowout incredibly lame? For me its just thunder and pretty lighting with red light at the end.
And is there supposed to be radiochatter and the like when blowout happens, such as "BLOWOUT! Everyone find cover!"? From the videos it seems that stuff happens at SoC NPP. For some reason I didn't hear it, I wonder why.

I dunno, the TOOM TOOM TOOM as the ground shook was pretty nice. It really made the Zone feel like a living thing. None of the other blowouts do that.
Are their emissions in SOC or does Complete 2009 take them out.
And same question for Clear Sky. Love the mod, but I wonder if I'm missing an large part of the strategy.

I always thought the tough Monolith dude in Pripyat called Scar was Scar.
